The covers are greatly inspired by music icons of the 70s, 80s & 90s. The NWJNS album styles def resemble vinyl albums but I wouldn’t say vinyls are restrictive to the 90s. If anything, they were more prevalent in the 60s to 80s (the 80s when cassette tapes were more prevalent). Then there was a shift towards the use of standard CDs in the 90s and now here we are in the digital age of streaming. I still do enjoy collecting physical CDs like what most Kpop albums still provide.
