Good ride man cleared everything with decent pace, thanks for the upload
I agree 100% Coming off a 250 this thing isn’t slow by any means. By far the best bike I’ve ever rode. Thanks for the content and setup info!
That one step up looks huge
Relaxing to Watch.
Is there a big difference in operation and sensations between the kx450 2024 and the previous ones that you were testing? Many media outlets comment that the KX450 24 lacks power but I watch the video and the bike looks smooth and easy to ride. and with enough power. a smooth mapped bike with a good chassis and good suspension could be good for us veterans over 40 or 50
2024 is quite a big year for the KX450, and it is better than ever for vet and senior riders. Smooth is fast on modern 450's, and the KX450 is extremely smooth and easy to ride! Not slow by any means, just sneaky fast with a linear and usable curve. My personal bike is still the older platform design, which remains a very very good bike, but if budget were no concern I'd probably be on the new (2024+) package. Cheers
You were riding good hitting most everything. How come you didn’t pull the trigger on the step up? It’s so much fun. Fast but fun
Good eye! Elsinore track crew cut down the take off before the recent Elsinore GP - Haven't built it back up yet...Didn't see anyone hit it this particular practice day, and I sure wasn't going to be the first. Cheers
@@CasMoto gotcha 👍 look smooth on that 24. Going to retire my 19 and try the Yamaha
My guy is axell Hodges😂 now that's a big compliment also will you be testing a xcf again anytime soon? Like a 250 i heard they're suspension is crazy good
I very rarely get to ride our off-road fleet, so likely very little XCF riding in my future (unfortunately). However, head over to DirtRider.com for more tests and information about all things moto-n-offroad!
Think I could make most of these jumps on a 150 2 stroke?
Most of them, yes, but there are a few right out of turns that are more difficult on small-bores! Haha I posted some YZ125 footage from Elsinore with a similar layout, can check that out to see the lines and shift points. Always moto within your ability and enjoy the ride
@@CasMoto Alr thanks so much probably gonna go there soon haven’t been there in a minute
is this best vet bike?can you compare with ktm/husqvarna
Best vet bike: Yes.
Hard to compare as I'm not a fan of air forks or rigid/unpredictable chassis - The KX450 has neither of those designs or sensations, unlike some of its competitors. My 66 year old Father got to spend some time on it, and I had to drag him off or wait till the bike was out of gas every ride day. As you can tell, we are BIG fans of the all-new Kawasaki.
I tried a couple. laps on the main with my 112 and could barely even make it up the step up lol. good riding man
