Hey Ava I have OCD and one of my symptoms is needing things to be at a certain number/having to complete tasks a certain number of times so much so that it is takes a significant amount of time out of my day. It’s pretty normal to have favorite numbers but if this is to the point that its debilitating you might want to talk to a mental health professional!

I think that when someone is letting you down constantly it’s important that before you leave them that you are vocal about your expectations. We all think differently and love differently. So having a conversation with that partner about let downs and how they make you feel is important.

When you mentioned having everything odd and it could really ruin your day is an early symptom of developing OCD, i wouldn't get to worked up over it or try to let it affect you. I would just say write down little things that set you off like that. If you also have to do repetitive things that is also a huge sign. - someone with diagnosed OCD
was gonna say this as well--definitely could just be a quirk but if it starts to get in the way of your daily life OCD could be something helpful to look into! if it doesn't bother you, completely ignore this :)
Ava you have mentioned before needing to go back home to see if the garage door is closed or not..also could be another sign but nothing to worry about unless it significantly impacts your daily life. I have these tendencies too but never been diagnosed bc it’s not too severe for me

Hi Ava, thank you for another lovely video! I can relate to "not identifying with my highschool self" because of my personal growth that has positively changed my personality, mindset, life goals, values etc.
I had a number thing like that a few years ago, where everything had to be a multiple of 7... I think it's a behavior some people with OCD have. For me it was a control thing- like I needed a sense of control over what was happening so numbers gave me that control. I've since stopped since my circumstances have become more stable but I feel you because that shit is constant and is so annoying. I recommend talking to a psychologist/psychiatrist about it!
Watching this made me realize how relatable a lot of the things i thought i was weird for are. i truly thank you for that i was in the process of an existential crisis🍸

I really love that you stayed in Hawaii. And if I’m being honest it made you that much more relatable. I’m 21 next week and I’m still living at home due to my college being in my hometown. There was a point where I did feel like I was falling behind in life as my peers all moved out and left their state. As an influencer I can imagine that moving to NY or LA would’ve been good for opportunities, but I think that being in Hawaii adds to your originality. It adds character and really makes you different, and it made me feel less alone about making big life changes at a later age (which in my immigrant household is normal, but in American life it isn’t-so it’s hard to balance between the two.) I love how you waited until a later age to move out on your own, and choosing to not live w your partner, as well as staying in Hawaii to stay close to your friends and family. It’s comforting to see that bc it’s not often that you see people with big platforms do that. I really look up to you and I’m so happy that you continue posting your content and staying true to you. thank you for being authentic 💗

I moved out to go to uni this year (I also live in an island and the best unis are in the mainland, so i’m really far away from home) and it really took a tool on me, I really didn’t want to leave home, but you helped me look at it from a different point of view and helped me realise that it doesn’t have to be a negative change, I can make it positive.
