FANUC 21T CNC battery remodel - CNC Lathe, CNC Turning, Parameter, Fanuc as

hi, this is james park.
a genuine battery costs about $70 and is expensive. Today is a video of remodeling batteries at a low cost. I think we can maintain the system at $1.5.
The replacement cycle is about three months.

Those batteries keep the memory alive for the axis encoders. My machine has them also, we try to remember to change the batteries every year but sometimes we forget. Charles

With the bigger batteries you could use jumpers to connect the new battery in parallel with the old one and not have to reset the control too.

Hello I just want to ask if what's happening on my Fanuc 0i-mf. I already replace the battery with new one but 2 days after it shows the APC battery alarm again.

Need to check. 1. Is the battery manufacturing date recent? 2. There are two separate batteries: a memory battery and a axis battery. APC is Absolute pulse corder. Is it correct that the axis battery was replaced on its own? 3. If it is still not solved, the electrical engineer should check it.

@@jamespark_85machiningtv I replaced the APC battery and on its first day it worked, there's no home reset happened after machine shutdown. But after 2 days, the APC battery alarm and Home reset showed again.

If the voltage is the same, that's fine. However, life expectancy is shorter than manganese batteries.
