Miles Did Not Sound Bad At All!!!!!! Miles lacks size and they know that so they arranged and played for the number that they have. This is actually the most Balanced i have heard Miles sound in a long time. Now they were unsure of themselves a few times but the didn't sound bad. They simply didn't have the volume of Alabama State.
They didn’t have the power, clarity, arrangements, wow factor, or song selection as Alabama State either. Y’all really gonna sit here and pretend the only difference between these ensembles is one was louder? Absolutely delusional, but MMH has the most haters of any HBCU band so I totally seen this coming. Lol. Next!

You can continue going off about how they don’t sound bad until you’re blue in the face, their sound still did not compare here.
Being the original arranger of Miles' version of My Band back in 2004, I'm appalled that they pulled it out after all these years. At how it sounded as well. Snap!!!! Snap!!!!
I’ll give this one Bama State. They were just the better band 🤷🏾♂️💯 Miles don’t sound bad as like people are saying. They actually sound good but it does seem like they’ve fallen off a beat. Great battle overall 👌🏾
Miles sound so balanced!!! Thank you! Don’t try to overpower just play and know your music!! ASU has more size and volume as they should. But a vast improvement for miles!
Miles Is One of My Bands in Alabama being I’m from Texas I don’t think they sound bad I just think need more recruit the trumpets ain’t but need a lil more blend to back up the arrangements they have and a lil upper brass to Give back that PMM Sound And about 5- 8 tubas! They Arrangements About A B- because of the numbers of other than that they alright! State is keep this sound I’m loving this groovy funky sound y’all have with the dark sound! Miles we need some intonation for y’all sound and then y’all will be straight! State Got this Hands Down!
I swear every since that jackson vs dega battle that they took over lol... these bands' 5ths have been a lot more enjoyable ... miles brought back that My Band!!!!! And A State showed out with that Tyrone
Miles College overall look and sound is great from the dancers to the percussion, they were Grooving. Let’s be honest ASU has had their moments but the only reason people put them up so high is because of the dancers and they haven’t been great since 2011, if you took them away from that band it’ll be like watching a boring Grambling.
Had their moments? If there is a band that has "had their moments" it would most certainly be Miles. The Stingettes haven't been great since 2011? I swear people will say anything nowadays 😂😂

Asu didn't play anything spectacular in 15 lol other than power they were decent at times. 15 tdc was good on both sides, Miles definitely gave asu work in 15 and definitely 16 turkey day.
@@JeffGVideos That’s a lie, that Aaliyah was straight 🔥🔥 ASU has always had great arrangements whether they have the ensemble to execute those parts for the greatest wow factor or not. Atleast they have trumpets and mellophones and also can articulate so well. I don’t think they falling off, I think they coming back up… I just think y’all hating and love the swac instead of band too damn bad… Alabama state don’t have no trumpets that’s being heard💯 let’s talk about the band not they sound and size. 😄 also you have a SIAC and a SWAC band. Think before you hate
briannajohnson4246, that trumpet argument work for SU because they have a beast of a trumpet section this year. Miles nor any of their supporters should be mentioning are calling out any other bands section when all of theirs are just there.
Yicahti, The point still remains if Miles sounded good then at least a few people outside of their members and supporters would say so. Not everyone is bias.
Dega was a disrupter when they came on the scene. A lot of programs numbers fell off. Everyone just came back this year. Let that sink in. Now Dega is down everyone is up. Miles is just the last to recover. They’re still respectable to me as program.
