I really love how rider looks in general, it’s simple and minimalist,it’s not too overwhelming in the eyes which MS VS failed to do. If the performance is better it’s a total win. I wish I can use that at work, msvd really sucks if your project is really big.
Thanks for this. Some great features. I have been trying to get used to Rider for over a year now and I still keep going back to Visual Studio (with ReSharper). I love the other JetBrains tools, I use IntelliJ for everything other than C#. I use Datagrip for Database access but for some reason I just can't get used to Rider. I have recently started to do some cross platform work on the Mac so maybe that will help.
Note that you can also injection language e.g: on top of a sql query write comment // language=sql or // lang=sql. This will highlight the query for you in the IDE
I have been using Rider for a few years and didn't know about Predictive Debugger and Debugger: Smart Step Into.

The theme is called "Dracula", the theme also has amazing syntax highlighting
