I assumed you're from the U.S until you mentioned Colombia. You're a good communicator btw,The way you relate that story is right on point( 3 months in 3 minutes but I got the complete picture). My biggest take away is this : you can speak Spanish ,English & French? That's 70% of the World's population ( the whole world except parts of Asia & Russia) .that is so cool.
You're so sweet! thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate it!!! I can perfectly speak Spanish and English but I'm still perfecting my French :)
I'm hoping to do a homestay in france in the summer of 2021, this is so helpful! I would love to see more videos from you talking about what it was like. Just subscribed btw!
Hi! my son is going to the EF in Nice, France with a host family. Thank you for telling your experience. As a mom, I worry. This sounds exciting and I know he will have a good time. I appreciate the tip on buying gifts for the host family. Gracias!
Girl this situation sounds EXACTLY like what mine’s gonna be in february im dyinggg they live 20 min outside of paris in a 3 story house, im gonna be sharing a bathroom with a boy slightly younger than me, and ill be there for three months lol wish me luck 😂
hi! for my junior year (im a freshman now) im thinking abt being an exchange student in france (trying to be in paris) and im trying to figure out which program i should use- ef sounds really good but its wicked expensive and has some bad reviews (which happens in every program anyway but) i was wondering if maybe you could recommend ef paris or another good program u know of? im really excited to go but i dont want my experience to be ruined bc of a bad host family or bc there program in general isnt that good. hope your having a good week thanks!
Hi Lilian! well I went with Nacel and everything was great, they make sure that you feel confortable in your host family and if you have any complaints they will help you, plus for France it is not that expensive (but it is not cheap). Feel free to ask me any other questions I hope you can do your exchange I Know you'll have a great time
Hello from England 🏴, I think I’m going to study with EF in Paris first since that’s the closest to me and I’ve never traveled alone before. Hopefully afterwards I’ll go to the one I really want to go to in Seoul, South Korea. Any advice for the host families for Paris and Seoul like what to bring them as a thank you gift for taking me in?
I would give them something small and meaningful. It could be something from your home country. I brought my host siblings typical Colombian bracelets and they were very happy! Also good luck
@@sofiaarenas1353 thank you, maybe some English sweets or bake them some England food to show them what we eat here. I can’t think of any objects that are very British that i could bring thought.
