I agree with this. Legit most Americans go fast food for most if not all of their meals. By you going to the store and picking what you need makes you already healthier than most Americans. Some days I don’t eat, some days I only eat a sandwich. It happens.
The first thing he does is getting treats for cats and dogs he encounters. That says a lot from a person. ❤❤❤ God bless you, I know you will get far in life.
My go to is a can of sardines in olive oil, I add jalapeños and Tabasco fir a little kick and I eat it with a banana. For some reason the spicy and sweetness goes well together. I know it’s strange but you should try it 👍it’s also cheap and good for you 😁
Seems pretty straightforward. The only thing I would suggest is fruits and vegetables. Maybe incorporate some apples or bananas or baby carrots or if that doesn’t work for you then a daily greens plus shake (it’s a powder you mix with water and drink, made from a whole bunch of different fruits and vegetables)
You definitely have a better diet than I do! 😀 When I had my FedEx route, my Dodge Sprinter had a cup holder on the dash. I would put a can of raviolis, or chili, or whatever in the holder and it made for a great "solar stove" ☺ I would also put Fritos in the chili as a mini Frito Pie. 😋😁 This was great because I would take a bite or 2 after a delivery then head to my next stop. Wishing you all the best on your journey! 🤗✌

Canned chicken, tuna, beef and even turkey requires no refrigeration. You can also get mayo in packets that don't require refrigeration. Great diet, seeds and nuts are a great snack!
Almost everything is processed when it comes to food. I'm no expert in the subject, but my brother is. To eat completely clean, you have to eat a plant based diet and preferably natural foods that haven't been genetically modified or grown using pesticides. That is how my brother and his family eat and they are healthy and literally have the physical appearance of someone 20 years younger. This seems expensive on the surface but he grows a lot of his own food and then consider the fact that you aren't spending money on all the other unhealthy things then it is pretty much the same. Loved the video and I think you are setting yourself up for success. I also appreciate that you get treats for the cats and dogs.
Your system is working for you. And you eat healthier than lots of people because you aren't drinking high-sugar drinks and eating fast food and snack foods. Just to share what's worked for me, the items I used to avoid fast food when traveling by buying blocks of cheese, apples, and any kind of crusty bread rolls. Mostly because those are foods that I like. Tear open the roll, break off a piece of cheese and jam it inside, and eat it with an apple. Also, baked beans are actually pretty good cold.
I admire your dedication, determination, and hard work to reach your goals. Best wishes for current and future successes. Thank you for posting vids for us and for your future progeny to see.
Dude, you won me over when the dog and cat treats were the first thing you put in your cart. That's awesome. "Quick and easy" health boost to your diet. Just look around the grocery stores you go into to see if any of the little veggie trays look appetizing enough to chew on. Eating veggies can be quite a task, but that's one way I've found to get a little at least.
You could supplement a few ways. Canned yams store well, and sweet potatoes are just excellent nutrition. If you have a way to boil water, instant potato flakes. Bananas. Apples. Avacado in the form of guacamole cups. Raisens as an occasional snack / supplement to your pumpkin seed and peanut mix. I'd sooner eat cans of solid white albacore tuna then drink the protein shake, but that's up to you. If you had acccess to a regular kitchen, you certain could eat a much more "whole foods / natural diet". Yours isnt nearly as bad as it could be though, for someone in your situation. The peanuts and peanut butter are good healthy fats. Bread for "filler" (helping you get and stay feeling full). Deli meats... not the best. But again. You could easily have tossed in cupcakes, cosmic brownies. Resses Cups. You get a pass on the deli meats.
You have some really good suggestions! I just invested in a microwave/air fryer because now i have the power capability for one. So i'll be cooking more
Ravroving another excellent video keep on keeping on have same model car and color .question have you looked into and android head units for ur car thx
Hey, I’ve got an idea. I am researching travel foods in preparation for my own adventures. Look up cold soak backpacking foods. There are quite a few recipes, most are pretty good. No heating required, although, it is better heated than cold. Generally speaking, it is instant rice, couscous, instant mashed potatoes, dehydrated tomatoes, knorr dehydrated soup mix, and various other additions cold soaked in water. If you really want to go budget, ramin noodles also works. One of my favs is a ramin bomb, there are recipes for it online. Hope you like them.
The food you eat is your choice and I would never presume to advise someone, it all depends on each person’s physiology and choice. For example some people really have to reduce starches and sugars, so I couldn’t hector them about needing fruits and vegetables. You know yourself best. Plus living in a vehicle is so different than in a fixed home, convenient easy cleanup is pretty high on the priority list for me, I campervan every weekend for work.
I'm happy you understand the importance of convience when it comes to food living in a car. People dont get that it isnt the same kind of enviroment as a house
Can/foil packets of protein like tuna would be a much better choice over “protein bars and drinks”. No refrigeration needed except for opened unused portions. Greek yogurt is a healthy choice for yogurt.
I'd throw in some fruit, a banana in your pb sandwich would be much better for example. Dried fruit added to your 'trail mix' raisins, dates, apricots etc. Getting one of those already cooked small chickens or 1/2 a chicken would be good for protein even just once a week. Some canned salmon, tuna or sardines would also be on my list for easy protein and omega 3s. I'd get honey and jam as well for sandwiches, pickles and probably buy beef jerky in bulk if I could. I'd also likely eat out occasionally and prioritize protein when I did, ie burgers, donairs, wings, eggs etc. as quality protein is the hardest macro to get living in a vehicle.
Your eating smart and healthy saving money for the future. Do you eat fruit like apples ? I've lived in a Van for over a year now lost over 100 pounds eating healthy due to chronic illness so I eat lean protein, yogurt, fruit and veg fast food is a rear treat like Taco Bell. Keep up the good work👍
Can of refried beans, small block of cheese(store in fridge) tortillas...make burritos up, eat 2 & wrap the rest up & put in fridge. YES, you can eat cold beans & cold burrito. Variety keeps it from getting boring ❤😊
Get a cooler bag and put some fruits in it. Maybe buy a coleman butan stove and a camp cookware kit so you can add some canned foods into your diet. You don’t need to cook everyday but you gotta be able to warm up some food. Plenty of freezer meals that you can thaw then cook on a camp stove. That’s my plan
You have a goal and that is good. This is my favourite peanut butter sandwich. Same as yours but I also add slices of freshly cut cucumber and freshly ground black pepper. Delicious! Keep up the good work.
Do you eat any fruit or veggies? That's the only thing I'd add. There are many budget friendly types that don't need to be refrigerated that would make great snacks or sides/additions to your sandwiches and offer added nutrition.
@@RavRovingNo too much added sugar. If you like fruit get a few apples and bananas. Both have great nutrition and don’t need refrigeration. Best of luck.
I think your diet is def decently great being in a car! :) I was thinking you can just get some bagged salad and premade chicken/already boiled eggs and use the entire bag as your bowl as the main meal- just open, add chicken, add dressing and shake it up. Plastic fork to chow down..
@@RavRoving We’ve all been in your spot even if not by living in a car. Lots of keyboard warriors forget what it was like when trying to find your way in life. Good luck to you! Check out the early videos of Nikki Delventhal. She lived in a Prius for several years and ate quite healthy. The bagged salad trick was one of her go-tos.
Where do you find places to park every night where you can peacefully sleep? I watched your video on it, but do you have to look for one of those spots every day when your trying to sleep or you have your reliable daily spot
Greek yoghurt is excellent. Low sugar, high calcium, great probiotics... one of the best dairy. Add a piece of fruit or cut up vegetable sticks like carrot and celery, maybe dip them in hummus or low fat dip.. add turkey or ham slices.. yum. And you're getting your 5 veg/fruit a day. Not worth compromising body health for the sake of saving a little. Only saying this as you asked for opinions. otherwise its none of my business!!!
Looks very good to me. No cooking and no need to. Plenty of protein and not much sugar ( maybe a tad in the Greek yogurt and even now some brands with none at all!
Your goals are quite admirable! ❤ Seems like you are getting enough protein first of all. Seems to be pretty well rounded. I don't know what you could add, maybe some precooked hard boiled eggs. (Walmart)
If you added a bit of veggies your diet would be ideal you can add 3 tomato days where you eat like 4 in 1 day and you can buy an advocado and do it on your bread just like your peanut butter for 2 days and for 2 days you could try to find canned beans i think yiu can just eat it cold and add a carrot a day or so
Great video! I like to take flour tortillas, spread peanut butter on it, cut up banana in there, roll it up. Yum! Personally, I like a high protein diet with limited fruits and veg. You won't die if you don't eat veggies and fruit! I actually went carnivore (meat and animal products only) for 9 months until I had some sweets, and my carb addiction came back with a vengeance! I think your food choices will help you stay full longer. Looking forward to seeing your travel adventures! 😀
I suggest you pick up some apples. Peanut butter & apples are a great combo. Also, greek yogurt isn’t bad, it’s the amount of sugars added for taste and “fruit” that doesn’t add nutritional value. Plain greek yogurt is best. Or try a small tub of cottage cheese (instead of 1 pack of yogurts) with canned peaches or tangerines, delicious. Watch Talon Fitness for more info nutrition-wise. Stay safe out there dude
sometimes i get apples at the gas station during my work day. I. should be more consistent, i just googled cottage cheese and had no idea it has that much protien
What does your work and workmates say about you living in your car? I want to live in my van and work full-time, but I'm worried about the bla bla I'll have to deal with because of that choice.
Im not sure what their actual thoughts are on it but nobody has ever said anything negative to me directly. But there's no tellin what gets said behind closed doors haha
Yeah you just need more variety man. You got peanuts with peanut butter for example lol, maybe try almonds next time? But for sure more fresh fruit and veg, nothing processed about that. You will feel better and have more energy which can translate to more cash at the end of the day so it's worth a try imo
Were you able to find information on the "Dezin Hot Pots" ? Im thinking it could help with quick warm meals soups, noodles, meats even spaghetti. I believe there $15 - $20 . Peanut butter is filling but something warm in your tummy can be comforting. Peace Bro. Stay Strong!!
That diet is awesome. Question, what do you do when you have to take a crap in the middle of the night? Peeing is easy for us guys but what about a crapper time?
Try no salted cashews & Brazil & almonds & add raisins & a small amount of a Choc ..like plain m & m s. Ooor. Whatever you like ..nuts are healthy...you just need 2 not eat alot of it .
You’re young, look to be healthy, your diet seems to be working for you now. If you like them, maybe add some eggs. I think most stores sell them already hard boiled without the shell. good source of protein and fat.
Not sure if you have a Jet Boil stove which helps with Hot prep meals on the smaller space Lifestyle. Feedback is good for positive negative resulting in Just Live for You💪😎👍
One other idea: Buy a big can of oatmeal (not the packets) and make simple "overnight oats" when you have a space in your fridge. Not the fancy kind. Just oats and a bit of salt. Top with whatever you want in the morning. Oats are barely processed at all, are high in fiber, pretty good on protein, and very cheap.
Imo eat whatever the eff you wanna eat. I used to eat Land O Frost deli meat in sandwiches, peanut butter sandwiches, protein shakes and bars back in the 90's when my fitness was at its peak and I'm still alive lol you'll be aiight
Well you might want to buy only for couple of days. The bananas you can place a little aluminum foil on trunk and keep them in a plastics bag in a refrigerator for couple of days. Or use dry banana chips. 🙂
You desperately need fruits, vegetables, and beans. While your diet isn't the worst in the world, you're not meeting all your nutritional needs to stay healthy. I lived in my car, then SUV, and now I'm prepping a minivan so I understand the struggle. I meal prepped one morning a week at the park, cooking a big pot of beans and usually 2 green veggie, and lived on that, fruit, salad, nuts, and protein shakes the rest of the week. If you can, get a Hot Logic or a Roadpro stove. That will open up eating frozen meals and leftovers. Also, google food storage on a boat. Boat people have lived with no or very little refrigeration for centuries so they know what foods to buy and what to do with it.
I don't know if this is useful or not, but I recently saw an interesting video about how to optimize refrigeration in a small space, but only if you have plenty of DC power. The video is at ua-cam.com/video/T4RmroAj-kg/v-deo.html and the TL;DR is: she has a tiny DC 12V freezer on a powerbank w/ plenty of solar and alternator charging, and about a dozen rigid ice packs (blue liquid in plastic case) in a DC freezer. She then re-freezes half her ice packs daily, after swapping them each morning out of her freezer and into a super-insulated cooler (not electric, just a cooler). It's a daily task, and demands steady power, but gives her a ton of cooler storage space, and no melted ice. This probably isn't useful for you, but it's an interesting solution to the problem of having too little refrigerated space for fresh food. Thanks again for sharing. I hope you _enjoy_ your diet and stay healthy. Good luck!
Try adding frozen berries to vanilla greek yogurt & making wraps using flour tortillas. Plain oatmeal, with your choice of toppings. (all more fiber!)😊
Eating garbage to prepare for a road trip? maybe your children might not appreciate it. Foods you ate: Dairy (not for every one) , carb (cheap bread - not even whole grain) , peanuts. sugar (protein bar), process lunch meat full of sodium, no meat or vegetables or fiber..

I have heard of people doing carnivore diets. It sounds tasty. Thanks for watching the video
Amazing goal!
Thanks britt😊
@@RavRoving Ikr, the more you know ✨:)
@RavRoving what people say behind my back is none of my business. Thank you for replying. Its comforting to know this 🙂
Yeah you just need more variety man. You got peanuts with peanut butter for example lol, maybe try almonds next time? But for sure more fresh fruit and veg, nothing processed about that. You will feel better and have more energy which can translate to more cash at the end of the day so it's worth a try imo
Good point. Peanuts and peanut butter is a bit redundant lol
Were you able to find information on the "Dezin Hot Pots" ? Im thinking it could help with quick warm meals soups, noodles, meats even spaghetti. I believe there $15 - $20 . Peanut butter is filling but something warm in your tummy can be comforting. Peace Bro. Stay Strong!!
yes i researched it! i might get it for some upcoming videos
Overnight oats would be a good meal.
I'll have to try it out
W video W editing 🔥🔥🔥
Appreciate that🤝
That diet is awesome. Question, what do you do when you have to take a crap in the middle of the night? Peeing is easy for us guys but what about a crapper time?
I usually go at night after i workout before i shower that way i'll be good through the night. But i do have a collapsible toilet for emergencies
Try no salted cashews & Brazil & almonds & add raisins & a small amount of a Choc ..like plain m & m s. Ooor. Whatever you like ..nuts are healthy...you just need 2 not eat alot of it .
I need to try more variety for sure
Well done
Thanks!
How you do your doctor's appointment, dentist and shower?
I shower at the gym after I workout
Isn't it Dave Ramsey that says "Live like no one else now so you can live like no one else later." Debt free. Great video.
That's a great quote!
You’re young, look to be healthy, your diet seems to be working for you now. If you like them, maybe add some eggs. I think most stores sell them already hard boiled without the shell. good source of protein and fat.
I used to eat boiled eggs a lot. I need to get back into it😅
You can make veggie cup bags
im gonna look that up
What happens with your job while taking the 100k mile trip?
I'll be quitting my job
Not sure if you have a Jet Boil stove which helps with Hot prep meals on the smaller space Lifestyle. Feedback is good for positive negative resulting in Just Live for You💪😎👍
I've heard alot of good things about jetboil! I might have to check it out
Some grilled veggies sound good.
Living in a car is like yoga.
Good analogy!
Thanks! Oats are pretty cheap from what I see too
Imo eat whatever the eff you wanna eat. I used to eat Land O Frost deli meat in sandwiches, peanut butter sandwiches, protein shakes and bars back in the 90's when my fitness was at its peak and I'm still alive lol you'll be aiight
Well thats good news to hear, thanks!
Just be careful about the nitrates in lunch meat, overall though you could be eating much worse.
Bananas, grapes, quick oatmeal?
Would those fruits go bad quick in the fridge?
Well you might want to buy only for couple of days. The bananas you can place a little aluminum foil on trunk and keep them in a plastics bag in a refrigerator for couple of days. Or use dry banana chips. 🙂
Multi vitamin?
I take those
Buy a small microwave; heat prepared frozen meals.
those use alot of power
No west side on that road trip?
I'm still in the process of planning it. There will be lots of the west for sure
@@RavRoving looking forward to it, also I like your gaming set up 👍🏼
Just eat whatever you like!
Touche
Like #333 Your plan seems achievable. Stay Focused. 💯👍🏾🤙🏾🙂 edit: peanut butter now and "steak" (my words) for later, a motto to live by.
Respect!! gotta grind for the life you want
HEYL YAYUH!!
🤠
Thank you for your advice! I have some research to do now
Fruits stay from sugar stuff
Okay
Get some of those items at a dollar store to save more
Which ones
@@RavRoving the nuts and the pet treats. I'm not sure if they have pumpkin seeds but you can find other types of nuts/seeds.
Bro you need live in box, ecological, cheap😂
Im good lol
Good luck!
thanks for watching the video! Thats a very intruiging proposition that you mentioned. I would have never thought about that one
Try adding frozen berries to vanilla greek yogurt & making wraps using flour tortillas. Plain oatmeal, with your choice of toppings. (all more fiber!)😊
Good idea
Привет
right
Jerky and bananas.
Jerky is great
greek yogurt is literally one of the best things for you, atleast when it comes to filling your gut with good bacteria
That what I always thought! Im gonna keep eating it
Eating garbage to prepare for a road trip? maybe your children might not appreciate it. Foods you ate: Dairy (not for every one) , carb (cheap bread - not even whole grain) , peanuts. sugar (protein bar), process lunch meat full of sodium, no meat or vegetables or fiber..
Oh yes my potential children are going to be very concerned about what i was eating in my younger day😂😂😂 do you hear yourself
@@RavRoving that guy is clueless...running his mouth off thinking he knows everything 🤣
At least your diet isn't based on being a diabetic.
That would make it even mote challenging
Everything is processed...
Exactly
