I recently repaint a pair of 2014 nike force 180 Olympics (white) , did the blue, red and gold from angelus and it came out pretty good but the midsole started cracking the 2nd day, I wore the shoes 2 times, I work in an office so not much of walking....so...what do u recommend?? I used a finisher, acrylic mate but still cracked too soon, way too soon, I understand that it'll crack again but not that fast.....any tips? Suggestions?? Thanks for reading, H.
Ever tried clear coat ? I've got a solid black pair of shoes with some Lil bumps I'm gonna paint rainbow and coat in clear coat. Gonna be using model paint. I'll let you know how it goes

you should test them by painting Ink to see if it would last on the bottom of the Sneakers or the Midsoles with the Seal. Lets see would this work. As long as the Ink is completely dry, it should be indistructable with the Scatch Resistant seal. Remember this is just a test.

And as just a 1st copy the white colour of the toe cap got stripped/cracked off so quickly. So, if I follow your exact steps on the toe cap, will my shoes get reliably or permanently white just like OG white and not need to repaint often after every brushing when washing/cleaning. If you using the wrong paint anyway. Try tamiya PS paint spray cans. Polycarbonate paint that's flexible and made for flexible plastics. Foam is kinda similar. DO not use tamita TS paint that will crack straight away that's the paint for hard plastic. PS tamiya paint is the flexible one. Try it let us know. I suppose you could paint them every month. Bish bash bosh spray spray new colour new shoes.

Because if I wear them they start paint chipping immediatly.. Do you got a clue for painting this areas with a stronger hold on the toebox? As for your question - do you use a finisher? The only 2 reasons it would crack is not using a finisher or improper prep work. so I folled all the steps for applying the paint and after I finished my shoes fell very sticky is that normal, also I did another pair of shoes b4 but forgot to put the deglazer on when I was walking in the grass which was wet the paint started to come off, n I was wondering if thats just cause I forgot to apply that first

Repaint and add mod podge is a possibility. I mixed paint with mod podge 50/50.

Have to agree. My 2008 Airmax 90 infareds I've repainted the mid soles 3 times now. They crack and peel again after 3 wears. It's a pain in the ass.

GAC 400 by golden paints could stiffen the show to help prevent cracking ....

You can mix it with Angelus 2 hard yes it will still crack over time but it will last much longer before it does.

MR. AGETRO finisher always helps with cracking, I'd prep the shoe properly before going forth with a restoration personally.

You should look into scratch resistant coatings, should be more durable than the angelus finishers

Because you're walking on the paint. Use a sole protector. The midsole doesn't get walked on. The sole does. Nothing you can do
