Uribia La Guajira - Poor but happy.

No motorbikes here... We hired a 4x4 for 3 days... Stopped off, very briefly in Uribia La Guajira - Poor but happy people in Colombia. At least I think they were happy! I gave them my money and my lunch... so I hope so.
Just a short video I'm sharing here to give a flavor of what some of these little towns are like when you travel through Colombia.
The little girl was so sweet, I wish I was carrying a big pizza instead of just snacks!

All the best to you mate. There are kids dying with malnutrition in la Guajira belonging to the Wayuu indigenous group and are completely ignored by the state.

Yeah, I did actually buy more stuff for the kids later up the road in El Cabo and beyond ... But that what you saw on camera was my first encounter... although kind of sweet, you're right, there's a deeper issue here which plays on my mind.
