Yeah, it would probably have similar plumage but it would be a lot smaller than this bird. Still, you can see many similarities between this vulture and its prehistoric relatives.
Didrick Namtvedt Velociraptor's plumage was probably significantly more conservative, to increase camouflage when hunting and ambushing. Also the Velociraptor wasn't smaller than this bird, it weighed around 30-40 pounds, while the vulture weights 10-15.

I have never seen such a nice looking Vulture. Never heard of a bearded breed before. I an no expert but, this bird seems more hungry than dangerous. The birds disposition seems rather good. If it wanted to hurt you I am sure it could easily. Maybe a little lunch would be a good idea. After a meal the bird might be a little more friendly/ relaxed. That is if a Vulture can get friendly with a human? Never seen one this close to a persons face before. You got some big ones buddy. Thank you for posting.
they are known as "bonebreakers eagles", although they are no real vultures they have a completely different diet than other birds of pray, they eat bone marrow and do not have the strength to cut the hide of the carcasses so they wait until the remains of it so they are the last to appear in a feast.

They take dust baths in Iron rich soil to become that beautiful red color. In captivity they stay their natural white.
