Thank you very much for this informative presentation. I needed a shaper for my vintage CF. You have helped me decided on a 2mm.
For my 25cm Speedy, I have used an Amazon bought base shaper by Purse Biling.
If you like a more sturdy look for that 1.2mm insert, adding a base shaper will help.
I like Purse Bling because it’s more high quality than the others. There is no plastic odors. 😊
