G'day, cheers for the info in all your videos. Was just wondering how you'd rig up for live baiting off the beach for jewies? Using salmon or tailor and given that they are bigger than yakkas or poddies, im unable to cast em out. Would it be best to pin em in the tail and let em swim out themselves, maybe unweighted?
I 'm glad your enjoying the videos. If I were going to chase Jew from the beach using large live baits I would use a slide bait rig. If you are not sure on how that works. I have some links for you to look at Article. www.addicttackle.com.au/blogs/how-tos/slide-baiting-for-beginners How to video. ua-cam.com/video/TRXZbvuSmf0/v-deo.html Where to buy the slide. www.bustedfishing.com/product/kingfisher-weighted-non-return-slides/ I hope this helps. Good luck with the Jewie hunting mate.

Cheers mate some great rigs & adaptations right there.
Cool tips mate thanks for sharing a lot of stuff I’ve never seen or thought of
Well done, great video !
Thanks mate, Glad you liked it.
Nice your video
Would you say single hook through the nose would be best for a live herring ?
Good vid mate watched the one about floating down the river too..gonna try that in the Trinity inlet asap 👍
Thanks mate and good luck.
Do you have the top hook sliding (so you can adjust for different size fish) or fixed?
I always have my hooks fixed. I usually catch the bait first then make the rigs to suit the bait. Good luck mate.
What are the best type of hooks, circle ore octopus?
I find Octopus hooks work better for me when I am Livebaiting. Good luck mate.
