- I had some people asking me to do a lesson for this song in the comments of my cover video, so here it is! :) I'm not very good at explaining things but i hope this helps some people! :)

Great video! My only criticism is that you call your low E your "1st string" and your high E your "6th string". We've been numbering strings 1-6 starting with high and going lower for decades, so numbering them in reverse in your video is probably more confusing than it needs to be. Otherwise, a very accurate tutorial of playing my favorite song on this album.

You're actually very good with tutorials, but the Background is rather straight forward... your rendition of Wounded is mind blowing, and it's a a much more difficult song. I'm crossing all my fingers and my toes you'll do that as well.

Man, I would be happy if I could learn this within my lifetime... it looks that difficult to me! How long have you been playing?
Michael BBC you can do it if you put your mind to it. I’ve been playing for 12 years give or take. If you don’t play guitar at all then you practice for 6 months in general and this song you should be able to play this song.

I have been playing for about 5 months and know about 5 basic songs, all self taught via UA-cam. Can you tell me what the strumming pattern is for this song? (outro) No matter how I've twisted and turned my finger there's no way for me to press down on that high string with the base of my finger, without also muting the string above it and the string below the low d string
The other way to play it is at 14:25 Hope you can get it eventually. Im muting the string below the low d string also, so thats no problem. It probably isnt a problem to mute the string above it as well.
@@MCMIXING Thanks for responding, I didn't really expect you to. I forgot to add in my original question, are you supposed to press down on that high string (the one being pressed down with the base of the finger) throughout the progression? Side note, it looks like he plays it a slightly differently these days

@@towardstar Hi, Ill check this out for you when i get home from work. They have gone through a few different guitarists, my tutorial is trying to match as the original guitarist played it.
@@towardstar Just seen that you posted an XEB video, ive seen that video, ill check it out, hes just playing it different, giving the song a different flair. Do you want to play it like how he played in the video?
@@towardstar Didnt tune my guitar to check ,but pretty sure hes playing 555007 then just plays the bottom 3 strings open xxx000. Hope this makes sense.
My fourth string sounds a little high but thats my only problem i tuned it with my app too but its no big deal
