Love this review! We’re going to use Playful Pioneers this year with my 8 and 4 yo and I loved seeing how you did both. So good! I was curious what math you chose?
This review is so helpful! I will be homeschooling my 3 and 5 year old this year and I have been hearing so many good things about this curriculum. I think it will be a great fit for our family. How did you print the materials to be spiral bound? I actually found you through a mutual connection, Kaytra who is married to my cousin Mark! Small world!!
Wow that's amazing! Kaytra has been my best friend for over 15 years! I don't think I would use this quite yet. Maybe when your oldest is ready for 2nd grade
Excellent review! Thank you so much for sharing on all of this. Very informative. 🤗💕 PS: When it's convenient for you, would love to know your thoughts on how you utilize ALS in teaching Learn to Read. TY in advance.
Thanks for sharing this in depth review! I’m looking for something family style all together for next year when I’ll have a K, 1st and 3rd grader. We also do classical conversations so I really wanted something to cover language arts. Would you consider this your language arts curriculum other than like phonics with your beginning reader? That’s the main piece I’m looking to combine more!
We've done The Good and the Beautiful, and also First Language Lessons. This next year we are doing First Language Lessons for first grade, and Fix-it Grammar for fourth grade.
I hadn't heard of Playful Pioneers until this popped up on my feed so thank you for doing this! I'll be adding it to my list of "maybe" curriculum for next year 😊 Anything problematic about the Little House books can be used as a teaching moment. It's good to reflect on and learn from history rather than shying away from it. That might not be your intent but it's how i interpreted it.
Thank you so much for this review! Very helpful!
I’m so glad it helped you!
Oh my that dress looks so lovely on you☺️!
You’re so kind! Thank you

We are Tulsa based and looking for something new. Is that 2 day program near me by chance? All this research gets overwhelming 😞

I’m not a homeschool mama, but I enjoyed all the knowledge that you went through on this method.
