im here because i read a comment that says this version is good and im dissapointed. I dont like how they rearranged the song, the power and emotion is disregarded in exchange of a solemn duet. Guess what, they failed. Im not a professional lyricist and composer but i do music and song writing for a living and i guess i have all the rights to criticize the one who destroyed a wonderful song.
Yes i have heard every cover there is on korea's singing shows here on youtube and this is the only one that flipped my switch. They tried too hard that they removed the most important element of the song. Pitch scaling and instrument re-arrangement is fine because of factors like a singer can't reach the certain tone or some physical disability for the instrumentalist or in some cases a ballad arrangement is added a full orchestra for a fatter volume. But this kind? No. Just no. I have played in an orchestra for 5 years, done musicals for a couple of years and currently doing independent music but this is my first time hearing a horrible re-arrangement of a masterpiece.

I know your comment's old but I'm gonna clarify anyway. I completely agree. I feel you're getting hate because people think you're implicating the singers. The ARRANGEMENT is a failure. The singers are clearly skilled but this arrangement does a disservice to the original (as a powerful, overtly emotionally-driven ballad with strong sustains) as well as a means of exposition of the singers' skills. Like going from a shot of espresso to day-old gas station coffee. My favourite is Ben's version.
Filippe Manipon i actually agree with you , the ones at king of masked singer and i can see your voice are better and the highlight of the song is definitely the high notes
