When he says “you’re joining your friend” he’s referring to Tom’s friend Kyle who told him to destroy the game.
Also the presence of Shadow and Rouge (sorry for the swear word) fucks with the Sonic.EXE canon lore.
But don’t get me wrong, I actually liked the animation

Like it's a decent animation but the song is NOT referring to the FNF sonic.exe but the og that just ruins the whole thing, this is definitely one reason why FNF sucks 💀💀
