In all the episodes after he came back never seems to mention she did call him to tell him and get help but the call was intercepted by a woman who he knew liked him and was getting more aggressive about it with his mother's okay. Also treated his GF terribly. Instead of taking care of this and making it clear to the woman and telling her where he stood and that if she continued then she should think about leaving the company. I found the mother at the hospital scene unforgivable. She was there harassing, bullying and humiliating a young girl who didn't know if her grandfather would live or die Later she should have begged the son's forgiveness, the GF and her family too! She was always so proud of herself but their she looked and acted really low class with no morals.
Lu Jin's mother is so snobbish thinking her family is way above anyone else. Thank goodness Lu Jin is not like that and stands up to her and declares that he loves only Shengnan. Good man! Despite the age difference, you can see the sparks between them
Oh, the grandpa was testing him, I think he approves.
I love the "uncle" being the couple's advisor.

I think it is strange that his mother looks down on this hard working girl making her way when she was the same after her husband left her. I really don't care for this ruthless controlling attitude she has and am glad he told her to butt out of his personal life.

Stopped watching this 🎭 after 10 episodes or less. ML is old enough to be FL’s father. Guessing it’s an Asia thing as why he’s still living at home and his mother meddling in his personal affairs. He’s dating a younger woman and he should be cherishing and loving her. FL should be the one with the problems/dramas🤔🤔🤔

It's the story of the drama but I've seen this type of story in American books, shows, too. Its not only Asia. There is a drama for every type of story. Also his mother would be meddling even if they didn't live together. It's cultural and not just exclusive to Asians. It's not your cup of tea, that's fine but it is a good drama. Last thing if you only saw 10 episodes, you didn't get to the part where he loves and cherishes her. All dramas are also going to have conflict or else it's too boring.
The ML should be really old, it's the story line. Hehehe

@@Gabbs_0.x It's true mothers meddle everywhere, but in most other countries adult children react like the ML from the get go , where the above is rare in Asian dramas. Horrible, at times evil mothers are treated like treasures and obeyed by ML.
