Nigeria Army Dismisses Simon Ekpa's Genocide Claims

The Nigeria Army has dismissed claims by factional leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra Simon Ekpa, alleging that soldiers are carrying out mass killing in the south east and dumping their bodies in the river.
In a statement by Army spokesperson, Major General Onyema Nwachukwu Mr. Ekpa’s claims contained some unimaginable false statements targeted at whipping-up negative sentiments against troops and inciting anarchy in the South-East
