I think the green laser is #1 since an early game unit is mainly used to fend off the early waves so you can upgrade your money unit,Its also good late game since it can slow down and most of the time your gonna have a stronger unit like a sinister tv
Some of my starting units that are recommended for you in hard, nightmare or endless
1. Scientist Cameraman, Santa, pumpkin farm, or any valentine farm
2: Green Laser
3. Dark speaker
4. Ninja cameraman
5. Laser gun cameraman
6. Shield
7. Scientist Tv
8. Jetpack Cameraman or Jetpack Speakerman
9. Laser Car
10. Mech
ELF Camerawoman IS also a great starter unit while the christmas Update
It does like 6000 damage per second Max level. YOU CAN beat Medium MODE and hard mode
Katana speakerwoman is good too
You can also beat easy mode

Here are some honorable mentions,
#1: ninja cameraman, because he is an og starter unit, which almost everyone used.
#2: dark speakerman, because he is kind of like ninja, but less dps and less range, just better attack speed.
#3: Katana Speakerwoman, you may not know it, but she is a good starter unit, for how much she costs, and how much dps she does, although she isn’t that accessible being a mythic.

Shield Cam, because he blocks stuns and does 10,000 DPS at max. He also reflects damage of toilets back to them.

-You probably want other units after he's max
Large Heart speakerman also good cuz it cost about 700 just to max him out and also he has aoe and single hit. But still a solid list

your offer is bad, so you need to grind nightmare first. Then if you summon a legendary, sell it in the marketplace. With this you can easily get gems and buy green laser cameraman.
I can’t lie I would say the best starter unit of all time has to be camera helicopter since it’s literally like engineer but can clutch up anytime

To be honest, shotgun cameraman are not supposed to be mythic because he dead less than a minute.
I personally disagree with number one nightmare doesn't matter for overall I think the green laser cameraman should deserve number one you can slow units which makes it a better unit in Endless so I disagree with this
Blud? Dj can solo nightmare solo only using one support unit, which is Santa. And with auto skip too. While green laser cant.
