The best one and the most beautiful song in 1991 !! She defintely the winner by far !!!! Great and unique voice with that perfect melody ! Untill today 2021 it is a very special song ! The most wonderful song and that amazing singer Amina is absolutely fabulous lady !!! Terrific song forever with such a lovely performance ! WOW 🏆🏆💎💎🙏🙏🔝🔝🔝♥️❤❤♥️
They are very different songs, both great in their own styles. The use of a fan in Sweden's entry was a revolution back then (their song title means "Captured by a stormwind"). I prefer the French song but as a Swede I was of course happy that Carola won back then. Agree though that the win should've been tied. Same amount of 12's, Sweden had more 10's, so what? That just means France got the points slightly more evenly distributed between the countries. I would like to watch the show again just to see the end again and the reactions. I checked back for this song because I remember that I thought France had a great song, I remember her black dress and the story how the winner was decided but didn't remember the song itself. After listening to it again for the first time in perhaps 29 years the other day I must say I love it and her very much, I even got tears in my eyes! Rules are rules though and I suppose there can be only one because it also decides where the competition will be held the following year but I don't agree. It was a tie and it deserved to win!
@@rogersandell7870 I reckon won based on her performance, which was very energetic. As for the song itself, it sounded very dated to me. It sounded like a mid-80s pop song than something that could have been recorded in 1991. The 1991 competition had a very weak field and Greece should have done better if it wasn't for the incompetent sax player.
I loved Carolas winning song, and Carola was truly amazing live as expected. But i feel that this song is better overall, though i don´t see it as a Eurovision song. It is actually even better than that. This song is timeless, and has nothing to do with Eurovision to me. It is missmatched.
True. But lots of non-eurovision songs left on this competition through the years...finished at all positions...but this one has the same points as the winner....that's the Big difference according to others non-eurovision songs in the history of this contest
Well, she's quite the saucy minx, isn't she? A seductive performance. Never heard this before. Must have missed that year's Eurovision for some reason.
A Beautiful song worthy of first place 😊

Magnifique Amina ❣
Such a beautiful song, should have been declared a winner
She was robbed ! Lovely song
The true winner. Carola was NOWHERE near as good. Crazy. Greetings from Ireland.
Quelle chanteuse Magnifique ! La chanson est très belle ! Merci du partage !
Whaou !
found it!!! I have been looking for years for this song just as good as I remember
Shes amazing
This is the real winner!
geniale chanteuse, voix merveilleuse , interpretation superbe , tu nous manques tres chere , lot of optums
Magical... France was robbed that year. I notice too there's almost no difference between the recorded and the live version... Great artist, she is
agree ! however, my favorite version is the Eurovision contest, which I find almost... mystical!
Except the end which is more flying on the disc
This was far superior to Carlo's entry from Sweden that was declared the winner, both had same points and should have been joint winners
I agree: the French were robbed of a win here and it is a good French entry.

@@renescerlini1643 this is a message of peace and Amina should have won and would have a legendary career
Tres belle chansons

This should have been a much bigger hit.
Sublime
Très émouvante.
SHOULD HAVE WON

Racism ! That's the reason !!!

Un chant divin chanté par une Déesse !
houa =lui hiya = elle
Bent u belg of Nederlander? Hoe is toch mogelijk?
Domage pas stereo :((
Well, she took some singing lessons between this and the live contest...
Come on, to be fair, no one likes the French. It's hardly racism.🤣
