UNICEF works in the world’s toughest places to reach the most disadvantaged children and adolescents - and to protect the rights of every child, everywhere. Across more than 190 countries and territories, we do whatever it takes to help children survive, thrive and fulfill their potential, from early childhood through adolescence.
The world’s largest provider of vaccines, we support child health and nutrition, safe water and sanitation, quality education and skill building, HIV prevention and treatment for mothers and babies, and the protection of children and adolescents from violence and exploitation.
Before, during and after humanitarian emergencies, UNICEF is on the ground, bringing lifesaving help and hope to children and families. Non-political and impartial, we are never neutral when it comes to defending children’s rights and safeguarding their lives and futures.
And we never give up.
Sadly I didn’t ace this quiz. But I definitely learned some helpful information. Thank you for the work you are doing to improve the lives of our children
Thank you for taking this quiz - and for all your support. 💙
From what memories I have of early childhood, my parents almost exclusively fed me starches and carbs. I don’t remember ever eating fruits or vegetables growing up. And my diet is still pretty much the same to this day. Jeez, I never knew how much early eating habits can influence a child. I need to eat some mangoes and pumpkins now….. 😨
I got 100% but of course I’m a nurse so I think that helped

Eeeyyy 100%!
Not to sure I will go with 1 in 50
Because the right answer is 1 in 4, as Dr Mike said
:D this is going to be interesting...
to add to the first answer... I heard that young babies shouldn't be given water, it can become harmful... so, just milk or formula
Yes, young babies can consume an excess of water alarmingly quickly, far quicker than any parent could reasonably measure because their bodies and kidneys are so small. They get all of their hydration needs from breastmilk/formula.
Correct!!
How about the Palestinians children?? 😢 Treat them equally ❤❤
I disagree with some of this video. While I really respect Dr. Mike, he is not a dietitian and nutrition shouldn’t be educated in an all or nothing way. Research actually shows that restricting certain foods or food groups can actually increase cravings for it in the long run. Keeping refined sugar out of the house does not teach children food freedom or how to incorporate it into a balanced diet. The truth is, kids will grow up, sugar will be offered, and avoiding it can actually lead to thinking about it more, feeling guilty for having it, and increases the chances for binge eating. No foods are “good” or “bad”. Neutralizing all foods is the best way to incorporate variety and have a healthy relationship with food. Not to discredit that some foods have more essential nutrients and should be consumed more than others but everything can fit. Sorry for the soap box but this type of all or nothing thinking and restriction of certain foods is diet culture and creates greater risk for eating disorder development which is horrible to suffer from. Take care of yourself!
It's so heart-warming to have supportive efforts from Dr Mikhail towards building better future for children. I had my fair share of efforts with UNICEF too.. I tried doing it with my niece and nephews however sadly the books from UNICEF didn't reach us and I tried reaching out and called the delivery guy that came in when we're out of Town they just straight ignored us like we didn't mean at all. I even emailed UNICEF and they didn't answer us. 😢😢😢 Huhu I felt so depressed and It's so frustrating to dismay my lil kiddos. I mean I'm trying so hard to do these efforts right and people just ignored like nothing happened at all😔. But I really mean though that "I Do, I Do, I Do" make efforts for my niece and nephews even the next generation anywhere in the world. I just continued following and updating wd UNICEF though.. 🥲🙏🙏🙏
