At the end of the Materialization Shiritori. Sora is still the ONLY character in all of anime to cause a Big Bang level event WITHOUT having any powers at all. That alone is a flex all on it's own.

You missed the BIGGEST part of the NGNL flex. He told her at the start [edit: of the end sequence] that ignorance would be her downfall. Her final word was ignorance, removing all ignorance that she had. This led him into playing coulomb force, and due to her lack of ignorance, she immediately knew she lost.

I think when Tanya mentioned a teenager being able to get past the air defenses, I think that is a reference to a time a teenager flew an airplane into Moscow and landed a plane in the Red Square, during a war where there was a lot of AAguns protecting the city. This similarity to reality is what she used to develop her plan to begin with.
Still a really good flex, the cockiness and smug rubbing it in the enemies face, priceless.
She even mentioned the Cessna that Matthias Rust flew (which confused her subordinates, as Cessna might not exist in the universe she was isekai'd to).
I immediately got it myself and couldn't stop giggling.

The True flex from the jibril „fight“ for me at least, was that she stayed outsight the berrier she created just to tank the bomb for no reason at all

No Game No Life is just built different. And Jibril in particular can be categorized as her own kinda kink and how she was utterly decimated by people who are so paranoid and anti-sopcial they literally think of every possibility and how to avoid it because being social is scary. It still amuses me to no end the beach episode where Sora breaks the 4th wall and deletes all the pervy parts of the women and actively points out how they can then get away with the nudity due to said deletion of the pervy bits, it was so unapologeticly ridiculous in everything it did and I loved it and I wish there was more
I'll never stop hoping for a No Game No Life season 2 honestly. So many terrible anime getting sequels but NGNL doesn't get one? I refuse to believe we live in such an unjust society.

Rory's flex of how old she is was a masterful flex of both her grasp of culture and and a show of her intellect.
In Japan the respect of all elders is ingrained so deep in the heart of the people it's almost the pure core of them. The fact that Rory had spent less then a week to figure this out. then be able to use it to her full advantage in a hostile social situation in front of the media and make the JSDF come out smelling like roses? This is a God tier flex of putting someone in thier place and making sure everyone knows they messed up.

Yep, the age part is actually a great sub-flex inside an overall flex. She was aware of everything that could happen on the hearing and play her cards well. Her ability to speak Japanese "out od the blue", her response and her true age was all part of the same. Also, she was ready to completely butcher her (love the lip color change when she is about to go wild), and not in an intelectual way 😂
I don't much agree about the Rory one being a "flex", mostly in the sense that the author worked the scene into a "Near everyone who's not pro-JSDF is incompetent/corrupt/evil, or all three". It's like claiming that Han "flexed" on the storm-troopers because he managed to hit some of them even though a whole platoon of them missed every shot.

@@alexanderspencer9114 Not true, the anime covered from volume 1 to 3 of the light novels (the cliffhanger at the end of the anime tho is much forward). The movie covered the 6th volume and there are currently 11 volumes released so there is plenty of material for a second season.
The thing about Rory is that she didn't just recognize the questions as stupid. She recognized the political intent behind them and responded accordingly. Being nearly a thousand years old, she was already quite acquainted with the pettiness of mortals (and immortals). So acting like an old grandma lecturing a disobedient child was almost a natural response. The age reveals just added to the hilarity as not only Rory but also Tuka. It almost seemed even more insulting that Lelei admitted to being her expected age.
That Tanya flex was something else. For perspective, just imagine Germany did exactly that to the Kremlin. The pure destruction of ego and pride done just because she could created the highest tier of flex.
That Nux Taku shoutout was amazing. Love his take on Biggest flexes in anime
Log horizon is one of my favourite shows.
But his flex on buying the guild building is actually far bigger and far more advanced than was explained here. It actually took several episodes to set up and it is still the most epic, justice boner inducing gotcha moment I have ever witnessed in anime. Its so damn good

another flex from that one, and I believe it influenced Shiroe's flex, was another evil guild from another city had purchased the temple building and was charging everyone in that hub town whenever they would respawn... That is next level trolling and a massive flex.

@@DarkJak2050 yes, I forgot their name, but Shiroe interacted with them in the first season, and my personal belief is that what they did with the temple is what inspired him to buy the guild hall.
That Materialization Shirotori No Game No Life is still one of my favorite scenes of all time. Absolutely loved how it was done
I like the finishing a game of her brother that was erased from existance better. Especialy when the whole thing was later revealed as part of their strategy vs. the beastmen
I loved the scene in Ascendance of a Bookworm, when after being bullied and almost killed by a noble, Myne flexes on him, showing how much more mana than him she has and regrowing all the grass in the crater created by a Feyplant, just after giving a real blessing to all the soldiers.
One of my favourite scenes!! I rewatch the episode just for that hardcore flex. The fact that she had to be stopped using her Mana after just a few seconds makes it so good ❤
And in the end he got executed for it. Won’t be making that mistake again.

I think the whole "Elfrieden kingdom heading to its demise and sudden rising and developing into a more advanced one (medical, naval, etc.) Is the flex of itself not only thanks to Souma, but to all his people aswell.

Isekai does not mean power fantasy, it just means "otherworld". Those are two different genres of anime, its just that a number of isekai anime are also power fantasy anime.
That flex from Log Horizon is still one of the best highlights of the show! I still go back and watch that show from time to time, I LOVE IT!
Hopefully you don't count that complete garbage that was season 3 that ruined the entire show.

Mamare Touno (Log Horizon's author) got in trouble with Tax Evasion in late 2015 and was sentenced to 10 months in prison, with a 3-year suspension. In other words, if he stayed on good behavior for 3 years, no prison time for him & he just had to pay a fine. At the time this occurred, the anime caught up to the source material (which was at Vol. 10 at the time).
During the 3-year suspension, Mamare Touno still released source material for Log Horizon he already wrote (Vol. 11-14). But he stopped half-way through Vol. 14 on March 2018. And he hasn't released *anything* new since then. The contents of Vol. 11-13 would eventually be the content for season 3 of the anime.
The lack of content after March 2018 was likely caused by the 3-year suspension from his Tax Evasion. In other words, it pushed *everything* back by 3 years and Mamare didn't write/release new content during that time to play it safe. Which then affected the contents of the anime's 3rd season. Vol. 11-13's contents were more of a sideshow/set-up for some of the big things to come in the later Volumes. Volumes that were *never* released.
So all-in-all, it's the major lack of content from the source material. Stemming from Mamare's Tax Evasion.

The items in log horizon wouldn’t just disappear if he barred them from the guild hall, it just meant they had to go to another city or zone to access the bank.
My personal favorite flex in log horizon! Closely followed by that fight where they went to rescue the young girl and leave the big bad bandit boss on 1 hp just so that she can be the one to defeat him. That is such a brutal flex, basically saying "you are not worth it" mixed with "I could kill you at any time".
Contrary to what's shown in the anime, in the source material; that combination attack between Shiroe & Nyantaa didn't leave Demikas at 1 health. It actually straight up *killed* him.

Tanya's attack on the factory was also quite clever... she announced the attack as per wartime law but made it as a kid so nobody would take it seriously and she has deniability as she is in fact a kid
Illustrates how evil she really is making the opposing side complacent despite the legit and correctly-worded warning. I think she forgot that she was a little girl at that moment and wanted Serebryakov to announce it for the same reason she ended up doing it.
Geez you absolutely nailed this list, the first three i'd seen and are absolutely some of my favourite non-combat flexes in all of anime not just isekai. Gates is a scene I regularly rewatch, Shiroes made Log Horizon for me and NGNL really is full of these moments with this one being the best

Saga of Tanya Movie was SO GOOD! Just wish they would've dubbed it as the VA for Tanya is absolutely amazing! Hopefully we'll get a dub of the movie with the release of Season 2 (whenever that happens) as it's been almost 2 years since the teaser trailer. If Irregular at Magic Highschool can get a dub 7 years after its release, there's always a chance for Tanya!
The biggest problem with Tanya flexing like that is it was simply too far. One of the people of the country she humiliated was chosen by god to eliminate Tanya, given an insanely OP ability and nearly killed her, with ease. This person was so incredibly pissed to find out what Tanya had done, and managed to very nearly exact revenge against a real force of nature. (Tanya)
Not quite the one chosen by God to eliminate Tanya was from their worlds version of the French Republic.
According to the lure she was only mad at Tanya because Tanya killed her father in battle and looted his corpse.
Definitely some of my favorite moments from the shows listed, very nice picks.

My favorite subtle flex is the Summoning Bells in Land of Leadale. It takes 10,000 hours of gameplay to get one (more than a year of 24/7 play time).

Great vid man, u just really made me want to re-watch all these shows...
One flex scene that gave me literal chills was in The Reincarnation Of The Strongest Exorcist In Another World. In Episode 12, Season 1, Seika Lamprogue (protagonist) rerouted an attempted assassination on one of friends, then proceeded to kill the assassins with no mercy, a smile on his face and laughter echoing. The biggest flex is that one of the assassins could see the true identities of people and Seika was revealed to be the Demon King. He was so powerful that some of his stats literally weren't shown. Another flex of his from the same anime happened in Episode 13, also Season 1. Seika flew towards the Imperial Castle and proceeded to massacre the army stationed there with no hesitation. Not a single blow even hit him. The moment was slightly diminished when he revived the army later, but his lack of hesitation and ease when he murdered the army will forever make that one of the biggest flexes in anime to me.
Love how these were more strategic flexes, something generally not thought of as a flex

Yay. You picked my favorite episode from NGNL as the flex. It's such a stupid fun episode. I can't get enough of it, regardless of how many times I've seen it (over half a dozen times)
For me Gate, it was a fairly simple story, but the scene of the helicopters or when the armies attack the Japanese base is quite striking and entertaining to watch.

You also missed the bigger flex of the Log Horizon Guild Building ourchase.
While Shiroe is eatablishing the rules ro keep the stability of the city in check, he simultaneously was coordinating a rescue operation to recover a bunch of new players and children who were forced into a guild was taking advantage of their new play bonus items, forcing them into sweat-shop conditions ro make various goods and generally profiting on their suffering.
As the meeting at the round table progresses, Shiroe basicallt bana the dark guild from the facility, and works with others to rescue the children and take them someolace safe to make sure they are alright. The conclusoon of his actual meeting coincidinf with the dissolution of the dark guild.
I like you taking a different angle on flexes. Count me in as voting to continue the series (if you have time after Mushoku Tensei premieres in a few days).
Momonga IS the biggest isekai flex
the prequal to no game no life was really good and shows the set up to what and how the world of no game no life came to be and added so much more background to the characters
For Youjo Senki, there is an extremely badass flex that happens later on. After catching the enemy completely unawares, followed by utterly devastating their forces in what was considered impossible in the first place, she literally used the phrase "We came. We saw. We conquered." And then she and her forces just left.
I won't go into more detail unless someone requests for it, since I really hope we get that Season 2 and see adapted, but man... so many flexes on her end. It's even better when for her, it's just what it means to do a good job; nothing special about it.

this are the types of flexes i crave for! *sure op MC flex are awesome to watch/see and i'll eat it no matter what* but getting that feeling where you think you're on the high grounds but in actuality everything was going according to the MC's plan all along is spine chilling, thats why death note was such an amazing series

Honestly if you were going to make another one, I would absolutely love to see either Hajime from arifureta or Naofumi from shield hero. I mean they flexed so hard on everyone that had underestimated them, and there was no stopping them from doing that.
Naofumi's best flex hasn't even been adapted to light novel from the webnovel yet, let alone to the anime ;D

The best flexes aren't what they do, but the reactions they get.
Seeing a top guild of the world get completely humiliated while an unknown somebody just got revealed to be a titan without affiliation.
The bragging cocky top mentally breaking, social uproar and other guilds and businesses rampaging to get a deal with the new titan.
I always love those payoffs.
I want to see the other country's reaction to Tanya's stunt. That's what elevates it.
think the bigger flex in youjo senki is tanya's first battle where she slaughtered pretty much all of Anson's old comrades before she got her OP orb or her prayer powers single handedly
That moment in Gate is one of my top 5 moments in all of anime.

One of the biggest flex I’ve seen is in Re:zero when pandora got killed, turned into a mist of blood by Regulus
Then nonchalantly returns pushing him into the ground with no problem, and when he wouldn’t leave. She just casually tells him where he should be, this then undo’s everything he had done up to that point

And characters arm no long missing
Hell she got killed plenty of times, returned casually, and preceded to continue talking calmly

Tanya's flex in the Russi federation was the greatest knee jerk I had in a long time.
