I'd be surprised if that wave was over 80 feet. Props to Makua though. He is definitely an absolute legend of the sport. But it's too bad I didn't have a video camera back when I was a grom in peahi. We used to hike down through the pineapple fields and watch laird, Derrick, buzzy, Ken, Dave, and a few others ride waves that were substantially larger than this one.

Sorry dude but if there is only one place that you can reach a 100 foot wave and it is here in Portugal. Besides if it was a 100 foot it would beat the world record in 2020 and it didn't. the biggest wave continue to be here with almost 90 ft. So sorry dude, nice try.
