This is my favourite version of this song for one simple reason: the band. They did a great job with this live. It sounds absolutely orgasmic. Perfect rhythm section for Em to play with.
"i can relate to what you're saying in you're songs, so when ive had a shitty day i drift away and put em, on because i dont really got shit else, so that shit helps when im depressed". This is how rap/hiphop should be played. With REAL INSTRUMENTS. Not those fucking computer shit of nowadays. THIS is music, not that shit you kids call rap nowadays. See how much more it gives it to the performance?
Wu Tang And that's totally ok man. The fact is that i'm talking about nowadays. They have their own flow n good hype songs n great with the pen too but they're just not as emotional connectable if that makes sense.
Check out NF the outcast of hip hop if you haven't already
after 10 years he can still rap it as exactly the same.. other rapper/artist/singer can't sing or pronounce the same after not singing the song for how many years.. eminem is incredible
We want mockingbird live AND WHEN IM GONE mah dream.
agreed!
Everybody thinks that he probably would break down in tears in the middle of the song. I think that too.
Wewillnever Forgetyou I've seen it, but he was doing playback, it was really clear. Anyways, I can understand he couldn't sing because he was feeling really sad. I guess from that date he didn't perform Mockingbird again.
the last time he performed mockingbird was at rapture 2014 and you can hear he was about to breakdown and start crying
EpicDude LOLYOLO Oh, I didn't see that part, could you please send me the video link?
Love the fact he changes 'denver' to whenever he's performing, the atmosphere was electric when I saw him at reading festival this year when he said 'remember when we met in reading' love you slim, please perform again in UK soon!
Goosebumps before he even opened his mouth!
Best performance ever. He clearly feels the emotions of this song. It’s the best thing about Eminem. He’s always authentic.
Am i the only one who thinks that was one of the best song's of him?
Also that girl is so beautiful, wow
She's Dido isn't she

thank you!
He sounds great. He is so fucking passionate. the king
an artist like him cannot be compared to anyone because one sees the experience and the work done!!
I got tears in my eyes everytime I see this performance. Eminem is a real legend.
This is my favourite version of this song for one simple reason: the band. They did a great job with this live. It sounds absolutely orgasmic. Perfect rhythm section for Em to play with.
Loved Eminem since I was young, first rapper I ever listened to and still continue to do.
Can’t believe I’m just hearing this. This has to be one of the best songs of my life time
Check out "open mic" from the album infinite. Also the song infinite from the same album. Em is honestly a monster
@@mrwhippy3756 thanks man ima check em out
Who noticed he said "London" instead of "Denver"?
Blues Clues because he is in London!

Love this song, and love the bass. Thank God, I found out about Eminem 6 years ago.
You must not be a 90s kid then. The newer generation missed out on his big debut but good thing there's UA-cam lol
I like how he switched Stan's tone from crazy desperate to sad desperate, beautiful live!
One of greatest chorus of all time
The lady was so spot on. Like a soulful metronome.
thank you!
"i can relate to what you're saying in you're songs, so when ive had a shitty day i drift away and put em, on because i dont really got shit else, so that shit helps when im depressed". I probably wouldn't be here today without those lyrics way back. Thanks Em you helped a troubled teen through some shit with that.
When he raps ANY SONG its incredible.
This song must be one of the greatest masterpieces ever. Just pure brilliance.
This is how rap/hiphop should be played. With REAL INSTRUMENTS. Not those fucking computer shit of nowadays. THIS is music, not that shit you kids call rap nowadays.
See how much more it gives it to the performance?
Your my man!
DAT bass and drums tone guys. no computer can replicate that.
They both sound good
Wu Tang
And that's totally ok man. The fact is that i'm talking about nowadays. Nowadays MOST (don't mean everyone, i said most) are just lazy and relies too much on computers and premade beats to write "songs". That's my issue.
I love me some good old rap/hip hop.
It hasn't to do anything with liking rock or any other genre. It's about MUSIC.
*****
True. Tho in my book, real instruments played by people will always be better than a machine reproducing binaries.
And in this performance of Stan, is undeniable.
The greatest rap song ever written
@Jason Borotra bruh, how do you know he did not listen other rappers?
That award goes to Uncommon Valour by RA the Rugged Man. He spits the greatest verse ever conceived by a mere mortal.
This has to be another Stan, this one met Em in London.
reybel17 there's plenty of stan all around the world
I noticed that to

Stan would agree
The ability to sound exactly like the original studio version is legendary.
The best version of "Stan" !!!
+molomix no Elton adds the special deep voice
No way. All 4 verses need to be heard in order for the song to be complete
Stan will always be a masterpiece!
He looks so damn young
Bruno Cisi
He probably takes care of himself. Too look that good at 40 something

There isn’t another rapper alive that can do this. A track that amazes me every time I hear it.
I liked this version a lot, sounds very personal. I would like to see Em doing more songs in this style.
Id kill for a full Em show in a studio like this just spitting all his best tunes, big venues and screaming crowds ruin rap concerts
11 years later i think he is better than he used at this song he kiiiiiiiled it
