Heyy Jimmy love the vid. I watched ful vid, and its great love it. Keep it up fam. I learned alot about these athletes. And others i haven't really heard of. Be safe😊
2 latvians! The most patriotism i have felt in a while
Bro how was the video posted 2 hours ago but the commented was 23 hours ago
Can you give the link to the vid with shane
I’m only 11 but I’ve been doing parkour for the last 6 years.
Thanks so much man! Extremely flattered 🖤🖤🖤
Two things:
- Ryan Doyle was the first Red Bull sponsored Freerunner. I was the second one.
- Sheva is not in Spinboys. Sheva is Alexandra Shevchenko. The athlete you are referring to is Montree Bouwdok from Thailand. Nobody calles him that though, his nickname has always been Spinboy. His nickname seems to have been the inspiration for the team name Spinboys 😁
Heyyy Jason paul how are you. I hope all is well. Love your content, i learned alot from Jimmy about you. And its amazing, keep it up fam your special fam. Be safe😊👋🏃
Ahhhh thank you Jason had been confused by that 😂😂
Why do you never upload
Jason im 13 now and i just wanted to say i started parkour since i was 8 and you inspired me i wanna say thank you. Also i feel like i grew up like you all the spots here are like yours that you grew up in first it was really boring but then i understood how to be creative and just became desecnt i made my friends train with me and your full parkour tutorial thought me a lot. Also Jimmy you are amazing you thought me all the parkour artist and the parkour culture i just wanna say thank you both!!
An honor to be on that list 🙏🙏🙏
Big love to you bro, can't wait to see what else you create
@@JimmyTheGiant wait is that really jannis the legend at hacking the length and width of tings he's great
wow
15.05 “the older you get the MORE* impact your body can take” you’re welcome 😘
sure thing daddy
That is absolutely valid for you! 😂🔥
cool imma try getting my grandma into parkour lol
Spoken like only Dom can! 😂💖
It’s more like you can take the strongest impacts when you’re an adult. I don’t think age matters as long as you are like fully grown
Definitely want: "A day in the life of Marx" - his work ethic and constant grind is so inspiring.
I second that 🙋
Marx the communist?
Josh is also wonderfully honest and human. Not doing Manpower in Paris because he didn't "feel it" gains my respect just as equally as those who did.
List needs more Elias Zimakoff
Elias 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
So much!!
True dat
MvnIPk & L'1 consolable also
yesssssss
Can't argue with that list, all of them are really creative athletes.
I personally would have added Matthias Mayer to the list, because he, like Jannis, is the type of your favorite freerunners favorite freerunner and has such an unique, creative and diverse style.
Funfact about Jannis Schauer: He studies Physics (so he knows how to break it).
Also Jason is not only one of the most creative athletes, but mainly the one who brought the idea of flow into competitions. But Ryan Doyle was the first RedBull sponsored Freerunner.
Yes I would too, add Matthias Mayer to the list. He's amazing
Mattma! I was going to say that!
Streber aber ja safe
Just adding some OGs:
Eric Wolff, Scott Jackson, Elias Zimakoff, Luke Albrecht, Endijs Miscenko, Baggy Phil, Nico Vanhole, Matthias Mayer, Pedro Thomas...
I second that ;)
And third that ;)
You forgot Philipp Holzmuller!
Man.... parkour is just the best.
...
Finally, Oleg's film is going to get the recognition it deserves. I have been waiting for this!
You're like the brain of free running.
You are like a library that contain all information on parkour/ free running.
And that is cool. Keep it up with what you're doing.
Haha thank you man, there is actually a lot I don't know and I make mistakes - but i like learning and sharing what i learn
@@JimmyTheGiant Definitely good to be humble, but man I love tieing concepts together, and you do that so very well in the parkour scene! Makes it feel so much more special than just seeing people do some cool stunts.
If it could be top 20, i would add:
Daniel Ilabaca, Matthias Mayer, Endijs Miscenko, Andy Woehle, Bob Reese, Markus Walberer, Nico Van Hole, Oliver Thorpe, Stanisław Lazdan, Luke Albrchecht. :)
Shane deserves the attention. Phenomenal athlete and a really humble guy. Really love watching the C&J styled videos as well.
Agreed; Shane is the legend of A-B Parkour; he's in the top 5 with Joe Henderson and the Caves.
@@prakpraklan5881 well, Benj and Max are my favourites, but I think that Toby is on a higher rank that them.
@@Habsnska Toby is the legend; he's just so humble about it too like Shane. Joe, Shane, Toby, and the Caves are lightning-fast in slightly different ways.
bro, where is Shade? The man is literally one of the most insane creative people out there imo. Cheers.
+1 Shade is a creative mastermind!
Yeah he forgot Shade :'( but at least he has Oleg in there.
Agree
Shade is on a whole nother level. His creativity is from another world. :D
Think this top 10 is a lot less controversial, shines some real deserved light. Nice one K!
Top 10 female freerunners? That would be sick. Keep up the great work!
I love Josh. He's so fun to watch and his content is so creative
Really nice to hear you talk about autism and the flow state cos I can totally relate. It isn't always found and is frustrating when you need it but too self conscious or anxious, but by god, when you get it man, you will quite literally smash the competition. Healthy heating, practices, and gym or whatever exercise u want helps hugely to be in the moment.
In the last storror video Josh did a 180 on a wall that turned into a 360 and i didn't even understand that flow. That was simply beautiful
Literally never done parkour. Literally watch all your videos!
You capture a sport and culture in a way that makes it mainstream viewing. Everyone has been wowed by montages of crazy, but your documentary and inquisitive film making make parkour more accessible. I'm literally sat here with a cup of tea and watching this instead of a WW2 in Colour on Netflix. Its brilliant. Production is fantastic. Were you a parkour kid who had a film maker side hobby, or a film maker who liked a bit of parkour? ⚡
Ah man that means more than you can imagine ♥️ thats my main goal to make parkour less superhero looking and more accessible.
I am a parkour kid who always loved filming, I am only recently learning more about the intricacies recently - but am very much self taught and have a lot to learn on the technical and composition side. I've developed my understanding in story telling quicker than my skills in filming 😂
1. Joe Scandrett
2. Alex Schauer and gimbalninjia (old scool Vienna)
3. Alexander Bayturin
4. Andi Woehle (jumping bar) e Fabi Haupt
5. Nico Van Hole
6. Stanislav Lazdan
7. Luke Albrecht (!!!!!)
8. Anan Anwar (because pasha e Jason too)
9. Bjarke Hellden (hero)
10. Sevo Sasa Svrk
More:
1. Sasha Sehvchenko
2. dk and Didi Alaoui
3. Livewire (before going mad) and Blue (storm)
4. Paulo Tavares
5. Gaetan Bouillet
6. Waldi Muller
7. Luigi Lorenzi
8. Philipp Holzmuller
9. Jesse la Flair (I know)
10. Williams Belle (the first in the history)
Up for six hours, and I've already watched twice. I'll be watching more of all these guys. Keep making these "10 Bests", they're great.
Man i appreciate the work you do. Also your video made me realize how many creative athletes are there when top 10 is amazing and yet there are 10-20 people left out... Im not saying list is incorrect or something like that, it was amazing but I've been cheering whole video to see shade, daniel illabaka, bait, zyulev alexander, zel and so on...but i see the thought process behind the list. It's basically who inspires you the most so I'm just happy there's someone keeping youtube parkour alive🙏🏻 keep it up man colossal job on every vid❤️
I would include Daniel Ilabaca. His skill/creativity level is beyond insane. Not as present as he was... and on wheels (rollerblades) nowadays - but amazing.
As usual amazing video Jimmy!!!
Awesome video man. Can't wait for another
so nice, loved how you talk about flow and creativity in parkour and the mindset, so good!
Still adoring these vids. Im glad you've been gaining fans
Amazing video and list as always. Thanks friend. I'm learning so much about Parkour from your mini documentaries.
MARX ALL THE WAY. Sick video 🔥
Jason Paul got me into parkour with his beautiful beginners guide on the most basic and iconic moves in parkour. Also other very important things like how to overcome fear, the rule of three (if you can do it three times in a row then you got it) and many other very valuable things to know about parkour. And he's just a very nice and funny guy. I never use these words but he's an Absolute Legend!
These videos are so good and high quality I love all of it
Wow! What an amazing video! So entertaining. Thank you.
First off love your videos!
Don't usually comment on videos, but that Alternative Reality video was amazing, thank you so much for showing me that!
love this!!
marxxxxx video yes pleasee
As someone who has taken up parkour in my late 20s, your channel has been insanely helpful when looking for new inspiration. And even your own passion for the sport is enlightening. Thank you!
This should inspire us to be creative and create our own style and don't be afraid to try new things!
Boys back at it with another banger. Nice one broheem
Great list! Glad you put Jason on the first place and told us about his background, didn't know that a found that really interesting!
To the people who are interested in non-flip parkour creative style, I would recommend searching for "parkour imaginatively" videos, the german athletes such Andi Woehle, Martin Riedl, Vienna OG's Alex Schauer and Monkeeeyman (their raw "DO IT" series was a great inspiration back then as well their hilarious and creative videos) and lastly, finnish legends Joenkkoe and eeto91 were big influence to me as well.
Plus I personally think Shade should be on the 10 list as well! Though you mentioned him in your other vid at least :)
Yes! Please do a vid with Marx
Great video very inspirational and really love the fact that it is also a great FarangClothing ad, shows the influence of Farang’s philosophy and work i think 🤔
Maybe a Farang video someday ??
I am not a freeruner, I am a tricker, but I really love your videos mate, your videos make me want to have freeruning sessions (even though the place where I live sucks for freeruning, its weird to see a small wall around here) but I love the way you explain everything.
Other thing I enjoy about freeruning is seeing creativity on a line
I love waking up in the morning, opening my youtube and checking your vids first
Love ur vids this is frickin EPIC!
Yes I'd like to se this video with Marx 👍😁 but have enjoyed all your videos so far mate, definitely found a gap that I've not seen many people do
Looking forward to more of your videos 👍
Thank you ! I discovered wonderful athletes thanks to this vid !
Great to see Archie in this list, he's definitely one of my favourites to watch!
“Fluency of movement”. That’s a great line. Great writing chops.
Here a some other creative free runners you can look up guys
- Valterri
- Zen Shimada
- Travis Verkaik
- Phosky
- Calen Chan
- Didi Aloui
- Yurai
- RYuya
- Shirai
- Tim Shieff
Thanks for the video! I'm not really a fan of the whole tricks and flips thing but seeing the comedic side of it with Oleg and Pasha kinda makes more sense to me somehow. It really reminds me of Buster Keaton or Charlie Chaplin to some extent. Super interesting to see that comedy influence mesh with parkour and create something new.
Excellent video, and yes, would love to see a Marx vid!
ive just started watching parkour and i've only learnt of a few ppl like storror and dom tomato so thanks for this video .Youve giving me some insane talent to watch !
shade, mathias mayer and klickstein pushing boundaries of creativity too
Just love your vdeos ❤
I love your content so much, definitely do a vid about Marx
Love the video man! Learned about some athletes I’ve never heard about. I do think Bob Reese could have fit into this list though.
Great vid!
every top freerunner list of any kind needs to involve jannis, good job
Awesome!!!
New trim looking fresh bro
that dude folding himself through tiny little gaps was next level. I love seeing stuff like this. never seen anyone doing that before in free running.
Perfect Video bro, keep it up, yoooooo !
im supposed to be doing work but im watching you instead love the vids dude keep it up
Shade for sure. Creative genious.
Super nice video i loved it
hi jimmy your on of my favourite parkour youtubers
Great Video!
one question:
Which font are you using?
I really hope you make a top ten underrated athletes list because I can think of 10 kids one one team called spinnyboiis who all deserve more recognition as well as tons more athletes
enjoyed this a lot! how about a top 10 most underrated freerunners? oh and by the way also please revive flowshow!
As a dirty casual pushing 40, this list was amazing and inspiring. Keep doing what you do mate.
I would also add Calen Chan, pretty underrated
He's amazing!
Nice video, keep it up
I definitely think Jimmythegiant is very high on my list, unlike most freerunners who just record their stunts, hes tooken a different take, he instead talks about the community and helps spread the word of parkour.
Wow, that was a great video!
Love the vid
MARX
i wish i would’ve had this when i was 13
man that was awesome
Great content, loving this line-up, of course there will always be tallented folks left out of lists like this, but regardless of that I really enjoy your content Jimmy ;-)
I agree with this list a lot but I would have definitely added movers like Eric Wolf, Minh Vn, Luke Albrecht or Elias Zimakoff on my list. They may not be the most aggressive movers like some on this video but they are without a doubt very creative.
my man jimmy finally sponsored let's goooo
He’s been sponsored by vite ramen lots of times before too tho
Sick video
Team What! are one of my favorite group of freerunners especially Shifer and Cosmin!
Shade is a great creator. And thinking also about Matthias Mayer, Elias Zimakoff, Jesse Peveril, Simon Nogueira, Luke Albrecht
yes! make a marx video!
I'm autistic myself and the flow state thing is correct. I once conquered the PvP in a WoW clone on iOS like 10 years back, after just playing this aspect of the game for a few days (more or less single hande3dly beat the best chinese team on the server at the time, although they tweaked their gameplan and just focussed me down first from then on, was still a great feeling to beat them, and I didn't even really plan on doing it, it just happened) I just find it easy to slip into this state of mind and then everything just clicks into place. It's almost like all of the doubts and stuff your brain would normally kick out are completely silenced, and instead you have some hawaiian beach theme playing in your head with sponge bob and patrick giving you a big thumbs up.
Self doubt and other intrusive thoughts just cease to be anymore. it's the same as how we will tune out during lessons and things like that, it's the same thing in our brains that does that, that allows us to enter a flow state so easily.
I love your videos man.
Wish I can put some Japanese subtitles so I can show it to my students 😂
CM will live in our heart forever. you will never die
Highly agree with this list, two guys I think of that could be up there are Josh Malone (who is shortly mentioned) and Alex Schauer, who i think is super creative and kind of underrated
Please make a video of top 10 most powerful Freerunners
i absolutely love jason pual he seems like such a genuine person with a great look on life shocking considering his last name
Definitely a good list, but I have a few for more athletes for you to check out. I think Lotus Ninjas need to be in this lineup, Genji specifically had a huge impact on style. Also a more unknown athlete from New Mexico named Zach Cox, definitely check him out. Oh and definitely don’t forget Alexey Popov aka lyoshniy, he’s been on the weirdness for a while now. Also the Bean boys of course, Ethan Klickstein and Josh Malone. I’d also add Mostef with is great intricacies with bboying, also in that note is Antonio Allen, dudes a monster. Also Bjarke Hellden is doing insane stuff with bars. And finally Luke Albrecht and Airic Wolff have been doing creative flow work for years now, they truly view obstacles differently.
I’m a little surprised Calen Chan wasn’t on the list to be fair.
@@parkourchris3958 how could I forget!
The first person I saw doing parkour ever was Ronnie Shalvis. He is my inspiration and why I've been obsessed with parkour since 11 years old. I want him to be more known by the parkour community because of his skill, and style.
Mox flows like wind hes so bouncy but compact in his movements it cool
Shane has the climbing capabilities of a video game character, it's insane.
5:56 this dude really making me miss my Soap shoes from like 20 years ago
This guy is really inspiring. I'm currently learning precision jumping on handrails without falling and he's motivated motivated me towards that goal. does that make sense😂
your videos remind me of John hill except for parkour instead of skateboarding, great content, keep it up.
seeing someone on this list who is a parkour expert and autistic is so inspiring, I'm autistic too and it is so awesome to see people like me in a sport i want to get in to!
You should check out tricking more and the influence it has on freerunning
