They did animate it for the n sane trilogy in a eairler build but for some reason they scrapped it maybe because they added Coco as a playable character
They can't replicate that with the modern engines used today. You can't slice a skeletal mesh character to pieces and re-assemble it.
And adding Coco as a playable character was a dumb idea because now the story doesn't make sense.
If you check Crash 3's computer, Coco actually time travelled to the past to collect the crystals and gems from Crash 1 and 2.

Crash games are some of the few games that are truly timeless. You could play the original trilogy 50 years from now and that shit would still be fun.
The old crash looks like someone on something that's always paranoid from how much he looks around and how often lol.

8:34 The original's fade-out animation looks so much cooler with how it smears the pixels into darkness... It'd be cool if someone brought that to the N. Sane Trilogy. (Also, I think this animation both looks cool and probably covers up part of the load time.)

The PS1 variants are so cartoony and really play up the expressions with the limited resources well, but the current gen is *so* expressive and oozing with detail that I can't turn my nose up at it. Hell of a good job.

God these people knew what they were doing with this trilogy. It's so lovely and faithful.
La animación clásica tiene un encanto insuperable, es más cándida e ingenua pero el trabajo en el remaster es excelente, le inyecta vida a Crash. Lástima que no respetaron su bailecito. Gracias por el video.
En esa época tanto los juegos como los dibujos animados tenían su toque de picardía por así decirlo, ahora el Crash nuevo está más ambientado a un público de niños de ahora. Los niños de los 90s tenían otro tipo de contenido con un poco de doble sentido para adultos. El baile Crash hace un paso que dice básicamente "me los follé a todos" 😂😂 lamentablemente se lo tuvieron que cambiar seguramente para evitar problemas con la sociedad de ahora tan sensible a las mínima.

In most modern games, this feature is pretty common, if not regular. If it was for an early game, on a limited engine it would be a bit more interesting trivia.

I love you Crash ♡ the classic is my childhood and I'm happy they remade N Sane Trilogy I got for Switch. Crash and Coco look so fantastic in HD and the new animations are magnificant.
I love the way N Sane Trilogy Crash looks so edgy-manly to the left and right, walks slowly like a cool gentleman, he looks shocked at the rolling rock behind him, the expressions after the motorbike race, his overall cute but coolness manly expressions - Crash is such a sympathic character I feel so comfortable with. He is mixed with coolness and cuteness together. Manly but sympathic. Idiotic and warmhearting. Crash is the best ♡

They really improved on these animations, especially the "running away from the boulder" one. Crash actually looks scared for his life, whereas in the original, he just looks tense in a nondescript way.

I grew up on a lot of older games and I remember both the doomguy and crash doing the side-to-side look thing and I thought it was just kinda a normal things games had.

Simple character designs give you more freedom to animate their expressions to as goofy (or horrific) as possible while detailed can attempt it but not enough to surpass the simple one. That's not to say the animations suck in the remake, they did a nice job.

I think they did really good with the remake
El de PS1 tiene buenas fisicas, pero sin llegar a ser reales lo que las hace mejor, porque se ve comico. El realismo de el N sane está muy bueno pero las animaciones hace que se vea empalagoso, un ejemplo es 11:34 no lograron que se viera cool ni gracioso y cuando se mueven los personajes (mas que todo crash) se ven como si fueran de chicle. Ademas no entiendo porque la nesecidad de mostrar todo el tiempo frente a Crash terminando la animacion cuando esta en reposo. Definitivamente el apartado gráfico está excelente, pero el juego en sí lo noto como esas peliculas mediocres que sacan solo por que sí o solo para ganar plata con Mercancía. Y creo que es por esta razón, porque ya vimos que N Sane Trilogy no es exclusivo de PlayStation solo por el money.

Crash in the remakes looks dumb. In the original, he looked crazy, insane, genuine and authentic. That's what made him cool. He wasn't pretending to like anybody.

I played the Original one and i think the Remake looks better the old one was Scares me when I was kid and the nostalgia don't always beat the new things if you prefer the Original one because of the nostalgia that's mean the Original is bad but it is not!!!!
