In our latest trip, we take advantage of the Alabama tourist pass. This one time purchase pass allows access to a handful of attractions. We managed to attend the following below. We used Hipcamp to find a private campsite outside of Huntsville.
Tigers for Tomorrow (sanctuary for exotic cats in need of a home)
High Falls Park (free waterfall open to the public, it was on the way)
Cathedral Caverns (guided cave tour)
NASA Space and Rocket Museum (collection of equipment and artifacts)
Huntsville Botanical Gardens
Burritt on the Mountain (living history site)
