  • SUNDAY SERVICE | MESSAGE: "THE APPOINTED TIME" | APOSTLE E. H MAULANA MINISTERING | 01 OCTOBER 2023
    Scripture reading: Isaiah 57:15
In this scripture, God is introducing Himself and telling you where He is. When the Bible says ‘high’ it is not talking about heights but another realm that is on a higher level called eternity.
Where we are is within time, space, matter and solids. God is outside all this and to understand the ways of God you need to view things from the perspective of God who is in eternity and does everything eternally.
Eternity does not have a beginning or an end.
    Scripture reading: Genesis 1:1
A lot of people when reading this scripture think the beginning is the beginning of God but in actual fact, it is the beginning of time. God created time, space and matter.
    Scripture reading: Ecclesiastes 3: 1-11
When you read the book of Ecclesiastes, it teaches us that there is a time for everything.
Everything entails anything from your health, your car, your house, your husband, your child and even the purpose that God called you to.
God has made everything beautiful in its time. He is not going to do it, but he has already done it. This means that your time will be different from someone else's but when your time comes it will be beautiful.
Everything is beautiful in its own time. You cannot live life crying over things of the past; a past relationship or an experience from the past because they were beautiful. That beauty was for that time and it would not be the same today, just like a diaper looks good on a baby and not on a grown person. You need to be mature enough to understand this concept.
The Bible also tells us that God has put eternity in our hearts. Though you are in time, God has put a desire inside your heart to connect with where God is. This is what will enable you to view things from eternity even though you are within space and time.
    Scripture reading: Psalms 103:7
God has a way of showing His people His ways and today's teaching is something that will allow you to have an understanding of God's ways.
Take for instance a sliced loaf of bread. When you hold it in your hands you can see the entire loaf from the first slice to the last slice. If you were to take every slice of bread to signify an individual timeline this means that every slice is an appointed time.
To bring this analogy closer to home, look at a loaf of bread as your life in God's hands. The slice of time that you are currently living on does not mean that your entire life will be the same. You definitely cannot see what the next slices look like but you need to understand that there is an appointed time ahead of you.
You might not understand what your future holds but when you look at your life from God's view of eternity you live life with the hope of an appointed time. Though you might have missed it God has the ability to rearrange it to an appointed time.
Now, before your appointed time comes there is an immediate time called the time of life. This is the natural and normal order of life. Before your appointed time of getting that job, there is a time of life when you have to write emails and apply. Though it may take time, you have to be patient and wait for your appointed time during the time of life.
    Scripture reading: 2 Kings 4: 12-17
The Shunammite woman had missed her appointed time to have a child but God worked through His prophet Elisha. Her appointed time was restored according to the time of life.
    Scripture reading: Romans 5:6
For Christ to die for us, He also had to go through the natural events and judgement of the Roman ways at the appointed time.
Today, I declare that your appointed time is now and that you have the strength to go through the time of life.
