- Guys and gals, I'm back! I've been off the map a little bit for the last few months because I've been on tour and have been really focused on my riding clinics. I did recently have some time off to ride and visit with friends in Colorado though, and I took the time to make an edit of one of the best trails I've found out here. I hope you guys enjoy the video!
You can support my channel by doing your shopping for parts and gear through my Rock Mountain ATVMC link :). You don't have to purchase specific items from my favs page. Any item at all purchased through this link helps support me. Thanks!

That trail just beat the crap out of me and I’m just sitting on my couch watching😄
Good riding!!!
Holy moly that’s some GNARLY stuff 😮
That's a very nice trail and you guys rock! Thank you for coming in the US and do your clinics. I attended a couple of those and really learned a lot. Best money ever spent!
Brilliant, I love your YT vids, can watch them big screen on my monitor.... So amazing seeing what is possible on these bikes.... skills I'll never match, but can aspire to at least....
Now for part 2 :D
Lovely - that's are back yard! Glad you guys enjoyed!
Good to see you back again.Love the vids.
Great job, that’s a tough rocky trail. I love how you aim for the large immovable rocks for traction versus avoiding them.
Completely EXCELLENT!! Good stuff, nice job!! Western Colorado Rider. 😁
Hey thanks for posting this! I got a bum knee and had to take this Summer off riding so I really appreciate you posting this so at least I can fantasize about riding! LOL!!
unbelievable riding Megs 👍👍👍
"Every little thing she does is magic", even your heavy breath!!! We miss you Megs!
Great video, good to see you back, for you hand being numb, tri the ODI lock on MX Rogue Dual Ply Grips, they have totally eliminated my sore wrists/hands
Great job!!!!! I did Imogene pass, and nearly passed out when I had to push the bike at one point. Extreme exertion at altitude is no fun. I don't know how Pol Tarres did it in the Andes.
That was intense that trail but damn yous have some skills great riding. We have trails here in Australia, but where I am from nothing like that, awesome stuff
Can't wait! I'll be there on Sunday. Not looking forward to the drive though! Coming from St. Louis, MO. I assume this is Sargents/Gunnison area?
Awesome riding 🙌
Always fun following him
good ridin Meg
Great job
We did that trail Friday(29th) in the rain..slippery, tough and fun..sort of!
Boa noite Megs Braap!!!
Irado!!!!!
Bastante técnica!!!
Muito braço!!
Show!!! tirou onda!!!
Such a trooper!
Fantastic video!! No doubt, like to take a couple hits of your energy!! I enjoyed it,RMFR
You pick great lines!! Great riding!!
I just discovered your UA-cam channel via Instagram, and I am enjoying your content. The running commentary is very useful and entertaining. I have two questions/comments. It seems you never wear any protection for your forearms or elbows. Why is that? I bang mine against trees, etc. on pretty much every ride, whether it's trail riding or competing in Observed Trials. Are you using an autoclutch, such as a Rekluse? i had one on my Husaberg, and I'm considering one for my KTM. Having electric start now. makes it less critical for me. Your thoughts on autoclutches? Ride safely, Bob
What a relentless BEAST of a trail!!! To expound on your comment during the video... how do you keep your heart rate down?
Sweet vid
Definitely a tough trail!, what tires were you running? FYI, running or bicycle riding will help with heart rate recovery.
You should come to California and ride the Rubicon trail. Nice and rocky! More like boulders.
Waht, no powersaw to clear trails? Looks like fun.
Очень красиво! Спасибо большое за видео.
that trail is in need of some serious logging-I see you ditched the gas gas lol!
WOW!
I get tired just watching! Question: I notice your buddy riding seated quite a lot in this video. Can’t see you, but did you ride mostly standing or seated on this trail? I ride some similar terrain. Awesome video!
Did you ever know that your my hero! Your everything I would like to be! 😉Graham Jarvis is cool, but I feel like you get me.
You are awesome on those rocks. Those puppies can really throw you off. But the only thing now I have to say there's a girl that's better at me than me on rocks I don't like that😭
oh boy!
Summarize it very well!
And that's why they call 'em the Rocky Mountains...
Do you ever do riding clinics in Canada? What's ur website? I'd definitely like to sign up if you come to BC!
What are the temps like at that elevation for the time of year the riding was done?? Colorado is on my "must ride there someday" list of states.
Could be 80*, could be 40*, could easily be both in the same day!
Gnar!
Your new GasGas looks funny…
OK so the huge question is, HOW do you prevent your hands from being numB happen to me too.
I was in Taylor park at the beginning of July and on the 5th day of riding I lost my breath, started getting dizzy and had to stop for a bit then I had to head back to camp while the rest went on, I thought I was going to get sick, breathing so hard I felt I was going to pass out, not fun
Yes, elevation sickness is no joke. Fortunately, I’d been here for a couple of weeks already so I was a little bit more acclimated.
Use your feet and legs a tad more not so much upper body wont get as tired as quick. I always pay attention to how tight in squeezing my grips to measure my energy balance on bike. If i got death grip I relax hands and reposition more weight over my legs and tank.
Can anyone tell me where is this trail please
Hello from rampart range
Gnarls Barkley!
Not sure why but my concern with bears have increased over the years. Have you ever run into any wildlife that concerned you? Do you carry spray or anything for potential encounters?
I have run into a few bears out on the trail in the past but they’ve never been a problem. They always just run away. I don’t carry bear spray while I’m riding or anything.
I've seen a few here in Idaho too in forty years of riding, they always ran away, I've come across cubs too, I get the hell out of there as fast as I can, no spray here either, sometimes have a pistol but never had to use it.
It's Colorado...black bears not Grizzlies. Plus it's Colorado, they're all used to being fed Starbucks and taking selfies.
Bears can be a big problem in Colorado depending on the time of year. Fall and Spring is the worst cause they’re storing up prior to hibernation and hungry coming out of it. I don’t carry spray with me on my dirt bike but always do while hiking. The reason bears attack is being startled and dirt bikes are noisy enough you can hear it from a mile or two away so you’re usually safe on one.
Heavy breathing... ( Smiles in Austin Powers)
what part of Colorado is that?
Ive also switched to open face helmets on stuff like this speeds are low u can get away with it and still be protected more like a trials helmet . Why? Better airflow not beathing your co2...
I'm surprised she didn't clean the double logs at 1:56. I tried lol
I'd describe your indescribable noise as a "Huuuarghh!"
What elevation were you at, 10,000ft?
Camp was @ about 9300 and riding to at least 12K, depending on which peaks they did. My group did 11.5K. Not sure what their max was there.
This area was around Sargents/Tomichi Creek, CO
@@MyersJ2Original Thanks man, the trails look sweet out there!
Very physically demanding
Beautiful ride.
The skills are there but they are no good if your tongue is dragging in the spokes......:)
You’d think the Rocky Mountains would be a little rockier than this
Back on a husky ?
Might be time for a rebuild...your bike is making a wierd noise...maybe connecting rod?
What's the trail name please?
Where is the Gas Gas
Lovely lunatics. That's a forest, not a trail. :)
Is it horseshoe?
yes
@@aaronj7327 How does this trail compare to Star difficulty wise?
That guy your riding with is not a good riding buddy. He just took off and never looked back, that's a big no no in my book.
He is one of my favourite riding buddies actually. We know eachother well and we both like to push. It may seem like he’s miles ahead at times but realistically we were never more than 30 seconds apart.
@@megs_braap Oh ok, it sure looked like at one point he was quite a ways ahead. My bad.
