That was impressive. I run a 32” full skip on my STHIL MS362. It does pretty well considering it’s only a 60cc saw. Just run the chain nice and sharp and let it do the work.

Heck yeah man! Sharp chain is a must for all applications! I never ran a 362, a friend of mine (Indiana Doug) has one and he loves it. I set out to buy one and ended up coming home with my first ms400. A month later I bought another ms400.😂 I’m trying to find out when the new 62cc ms400 will be available in the states. All I hear is sometime in 2025. Thanks for commenting, saw safe!

Wow! Thanks Kirk! That saw is a beast! I don't know where you got that huge log, but I was shocked when I saw it! That went really well with the ported power head. I think for us un-ported guys that just want to do a muffler, we may need to stick with a .325 setup.

Thank you! Yes, I’d say .325, or if you don’t want to change everything over for the .325, try 3/8 skip first and see how it does. I think you’ll be impressed with a muffler mod and 3/8 full skip.👍🏼. Saw safe man!

@@Kirks_Custom_Chainsaws All this is so I can stand up and buck. Working in the glass industry, lifting full semi loads of household windows off the tail of the trailer by hand and huge commercial thermo panes ruined my back. I'm trying to create the lightest, fastest setup I can. Good posture and speed for the win. I also have an echo 620p with the echo 27" bar, and a 4910 I bought to have Dyno Joe port. I had to wait until I got the bill from the body shop for my 96 Impala SS. Ya Never know if they are going to bait and switch. Well, he did. I stripped it of the glass bumpers, mirrors lights, handles, and prepped everything but the body. Told me 3500-4000 and wanted 8 grand! Thats me putting the whole car back together too. Now Dyno Joe raised his prices to 400 no matter the saw plus shipping there and back. I'm not paying more for porting than the 4910 saw! Takes all the fun out of it. Thats why I bought the 562. Put a muffler on and it runs with most ported saws except another 562 like yours. If a drag strip was black walnut, you've got an 11 second saw. In car terms, that's 600 horsepower. Thanks again for the video. That was a huge surprise!

Wow! The bodyshop more than doubled their estimate 😳. That’s crazy! And it sounds like you’re doing all the work. That’s a shame about your back, I can totally relate as far as standing upright while bucking. That’s why I like small lightweight ported saws with long bars on them. Thank you for the complement on the 562, I hope my mkii turns out this good or maybe even a little better 🤞🏼 when I get it broke in. When I have some more time, I’m planning to try it (562) with a 32” 3/8 skip, and then maybe even give it a try with the 32” .325. Either way, I’ll upload videos & let you know as I do the testing👍🏼
