Such a great song. Its about their beginning as a band, the problems they had during time and how they came over it and still cant be wiped away.
Yes indeed; a very underestimated song! They had (and still have) been given a lot of negative comments, but they still get over it!
Till is basically doing a parody of himself, singing monotone and standing there at attention :-D
Love all the surprises they crammed into this performance.
Also: "Ihr werdet uns nie los!" - You'll never get rid of us - love that line!
There are a few lines that make you smile. You'll never get rid of us. Our media never understood this band. They always felt provoked.😂

This song is all about German wordplay! LOS has so many meanings, from "Go" to "less", "start" and the end when Till sings "Wir waren los", it means "we were unleashed."
Also, I'm glad you guys enjoyed it, I particularly like the end when Richard and Till are headbanging together, which doesn't happen often and of course Flake in his tiny shorts going mental. This whole concert is great!

I remember buying this cd/dvd combo hoping to see them one day in concert. I was at that MSG show back in 2010 and I’ve seen them 5 times now. Greatest live show.

One of their hidden jams. Such a cool sounding song. And the lyrics are great. Their way of telling all the critic to go to hell. They went through so much bs, the past decates, you can't imagine. The press here almost never had to say anything good about them. A lot of people don't wanna be bothered with taboo topics.
One reason, I've been a fan of them for such a long time. They don't care. They say, what they wanna say. And of course because of the music.

I was not there, but saw him on Tuesday in London. Man, was he good. Just 😍! Loved the whole night. And the fish, with the cake. Some throw parts of the cake and some fish back to the stage, then it got into a little back and forward thingy. 😂 Just a great evening. All together I was 4 days in London and one day was reserved for Till. I was not in row zerto (if it existed, did not look like that) but in row 1. 😃

Every band member, maybe except for Oliver, does something they usually wouldn't during the performance of this song, which is interesting, because the lyrics are about the story of the band itself.

@@pupzemli9232 сложна. Берлин, конечно, очень энергичный, смелый, но чуток сырой. Косяки есть и так, по мелочи. Начало группы, что сказать. А вот волькербал, как мне видится, легче прошел, без ощутимого напряга. Все улыбаются, косяков в песнях нет и тд. Очень драйвовый концерт, мощный, заряжает аж хочется плясать. Некоторые песни, конечно, в берлине по-лучше выглядят. Тот жк зейнзухт. Там он прям от души спел, прям аж трясëт. В волькербале тоже эта песня хороша, но, например, там он хрипит, а не поет. Бесконечно можно выяснять. Мне просто больше нра волкербал. Мб снято просто хорошо и всё
@@димапроф-р6ю а вот мне не нравится их костюмы. В берлине были гениальные футуристические одеяния. Везде хром, Рихард с белыми линзами, Тиль в странном шипастом костюме, с лазерными очками. Вот это конечно моё почтение. Волькербол просто качественнее получился, хотя тот писк который тиль издал в Штайн ум Штайн здорово подпортил впечатление

Раньше вот майн тайл был зашибись. И образ, и актерская игра. А щас что? Ходит, бл, улыбается. Поëт чëрти как. Обидно и жалко, что такого исполнения мы, очевидно, больше никогда не увидим

Los is a word with multiple meanings in German.
As a single word it can be an order such as "Ready, set, go!" in "Auf die Plätze, fertig, los!" (Literally "on your marks, ready, go!"
As a suffix -los it is identical to the English suffix -less. Add it to a noun like shame you get shameless or to god gets godless. However here's the clincher: if you extend the pause between god and less it doesn't mean they were godless, but they got rid of god. So saying "ich bin den Müll los geworden." means "I got rid of the trash" and not "I'm trashless."
In the final stanza "Wir waren los" it was a bit of a creative license to imply that they were set loose like wild animals, or unleashed.
BTW: German is able to combine lots and lots of words with the suffix +less as that's basically built into the language. The part where Till popped into the upper, higher register he reused the word "sanglos" which isn't a word that is in general usage, or maybe not even a dictionary. However German is very forgiving for such impromptu word creations. "Sanglos" means "song+less" as a very direct translation. It is used twice; once very early in the song as a very deep monotone during the stanza where they describe themselves as a bit unpolished, unfinished in their very early years. But the second time we return to a much more seasoned, well known band, but they still refer to themselves as "song+less" as their songs aren't very melodic and varied, going through many tonal shifts or registers. But this second time Till intentionally raises his tone to a pretty high note as a little snide remark that while their songs still often use high repetition and are still fairly monotone from a technical point of view, they are definitely capable of higher pitches and rapid pitch changed.😂

Subtitles not 100% accurate but it's difficult as they play with German words like in Du Hast. When he sings "Wir waren los" in the end it's not "We were less" but more like "We were out" or "We were unleashed". Los can mean "vamos!", or "...less" or "come one" or whatever :) So in the beginning negative, in the end all the negativity couldn't stop them from rising.

The keyboard/organ solo maybe was a tribute to Keith Emerson or Jon Lord. Destroying it afterwards also reminds me of Ritchie Blackmore (also Deep Purple) doing this with his guitar.....🤔
"V" in German normally is pronounced like "F" in "folk", cp. Volk / Völker (pron. F) and folk (same etymology, but different meanings).
