3x months with no lifting, and she still had the gems on some of the nails?! That has got to make you proud. Clearly shows the application was flawless!! "Happy nail tech noises"
The fact that these stayed on so long just proves that the nail tech prepped the nails really well. Side note: how did having her nails that grown out not drive her crazy? I would’ve ripped them off
Yeah they grew out perfectly😮 Mine could never and I don't even do work that's super hard on my nails lol i just do surgery, life and cleaning or washing dishes lol i just did a soak off in quarantine and ordered a polygel kit from amazon and played around with it.

@@hopelltt oooh yeah that's a good idea cause there's almost nothing worse than catching your nail on something or bending it backwards while wiping something down 😬😩 that happens to me sometimes and that shit hurts so bad! I’m really sick at the moment (suffer from severe migraines) And came across your video. It was the only video that I didn’t need to have the volume all the way down, and was actually bearable to watch. Also helped me sleep a bit haha. I love your voice! It’s very soothing and makes the video more enjoyable than a harsh volume :)
To help my migraines, I usually mute a video that doesn't need talking (a gameplay walkthrough, nail vids, etc) and open lofi in another tab and turn the volume pretty low. I find it's a pretty good way to relax.
@@mafiawaffle thanks for the tip! Usually I wouldn’t even be on my phone but I was feeling a bit better so I wanted to find a video to watch. Will try what you mentioned out 😊

I took mine off and am rehabbing my nails after 5 years of acrylics. Slow but going well. Covid 19 has made getting to the manicure and pedicure last on the list.
I feel such a relief now that her nails are done! Idk how she was able to stay sane and function with those on for 90 days 😳 Finish product was beautiful 💜
Kudos to the last nail artist of the original set! Those nails lasted so long and aside from the obvious damage that occurs from long term wear, they didn't have any real application issues!
My natural nails grow similarly to this lady's. That line diagram explained how to lay the product down perfectly. I've been doing gel overlays for nearly a year now. Just some lady in British Columbia, trying to save myself a few $$. UA-cam educators like you have helped immensely. tsmfs. You rock!
I tried to get my nails done with just nail polish and i asked for smiley faces AND AND THEY COULDN'T EVEN MAKE THEM!! Thats why i go on Instagram to find some nail techs that can do such things. Can't trust some Asian nail techs even the Latinas they just do whatever they want and charge so much 😑😭
Great video. I don’t think I could keep them on like that. I would have picked them off. You did such a great job with her nails. Thank you for sharing this.
I can only imagine how relieved your client must have been after this transformation!!😅 I myself have similar natural nails that grow upward, but I am too much of a perfectionist and always end up shortening and re-extending my nails slightly downward. It’s definitely not the most time efficient way😂 but I rationalize that I need the practice... which is true... so 🤷♀️😂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
These are the hardest nails ever to work on to me, when they grow with that ski jump. Lol !!!!! You make it look so easy. Beautiful beautiful set!!!!!!
@Titu Nya Acetone will absolutely take off acrylics. Do you have to soak them for a pretty long time? Yes. Is it fun? No. But they’ll come off eventually.
Mine were pretty bad after thee months quarantine but they didn’t come off! My nail tech was pretty impressed! Your client has very pretty hands! You do excellent work! 👏👏😍
That nail tech got her nails to stay on that long? Whew Chile. The talent. Glad you helped her take them off for quarantine they were beautiful but it was time.
Hey Tatyana, great gob! As for me, it would be easier to take the old nails completely off, and sculpt new, beautiful perfect shape. Also, I'd definitely break all of the nails at the half way to this length and it would be so painful, ouch. You and your client are wonderful 👏
@@nil-8026 it doesn’t take that long to soak them off and your nails only get thin if you’re ripping the fake ones off which shouldn’t be done in the first place 🤷♀️
I think she keeps on the base of the previous nail polish to make sure the natural nail underneath doesn't tear.. she said that the client had damaged nails underneath, but wanted to keep them at this length.. and to keep the nails from breaking or tearing it needs that old layer..(I don't know how it's called, but it's that thin layer that was left after most of the old nail polish was removed) But I don't know for sure.. Im not an expert xD
Very likely that the client specifically demanded to preserve her real nails. Or they were on a time budget and didn't have time for whole hands paper forms.
My nails grew out really long once (no where even near this long though) and I jammed my finger and it totally wrecked my nail bed and real nail. Like, it snapped through my cuticle and wouldn’t stop bleeding. It was gruesome. Now I freak out when I see overgrown nails ☠️
I’m impressed that the original set stayed on but most of all, I’m blown away by how sharpe your cuticle area was when it grew out. Was the original set polygel as well? I enjoy using it on myself or friends messing around but I’ve never considered it for clients. How long have you been using it on clients and do you feel like clients prefer it over gel or acrylic?
Ouch those previous nail grown out looked like an accident waiting to happen. Props to the good nail tech who can get nails like that to stay on for 3 months.
My nails are super weak under the gel. And of course, the gel was lifting from the cuticle end. I grabbed something heavy and it snapped my nail in half up to where the lift was. The pain was unusually ... painful. After a few moments, blood started to seep out the side 😬. I flushed that fast with soap and water before putting on bandaid to apply pressure. That wasn’t too difficult. But I can see the shadow of dried blood under the opaque gel.
