While the RE4 Remake looks fantastic & cutting edge...some (not all) younger players should understand that the original was also cutting edge & looked fantastic when it was released.

If anything the original was the most revolutionary game at the time even on a GameCube but remake looks like many other games I've seen before and there is nothing that stands out graphics or gameplay wise.
The OG still has a charm to it. Leon's witty remarks and cheesy one-liners are legendary and still crack me up. The reimagined Leon is more serious, pensive and considerate. The Remake comes across more mature. BTW Leon's hair looks on fleek in both versions! I'm so excited I can't even! ❤
I like how in the original Leon goes checking upstairs to make sure the cabin is secure while Luis and Ashley are bickering, shows how professional of an agent he is by wanting to know his surroundings so he knows it's safe to tell Ashley to go hide upstairs later when the ganados arrive.
Bruh Luis was literally there,it made no sense,if it wasn't safe Luis wouldn't be so chill. What also doesn't make sense is he has time to check anything,the ganados were literally right behind them. Glad they fixed that.
I love how you can hear the boots hitting against the ground in the remake adding more realism to the game rather than the default grass sound effect in the original. Alongside how the impact sounds, it feels like you’re Leon actually kicking the hell out of the villagers. Seeing the merchant again brings a smile to my face I recently went to a retro video game store where I bought a pin of the merchant from RE4 I’m sure he would’ve said “he he he thank you!”

For me one of the most tense moments in the game Was in the garden maze and That moment you could hear the dogs coming for you but you couldn't quite see them yet. Do watch Game Informer's Developer Q&A, where they've confirmed plenty of questions regarding the RE4 Remake. To answer this specific question, yes they've specified that he wasn't cut from the game. In fact, his knife fight boss sequence inspired the parry mechanic to be used as a core mechanic of the game.
