Jat are pure vaidik Aryan kshetriya whereas Rajputs are fake Aryanised mixed shudra caste of Brahmins, Ahir, Bhar, Rajghat, tribal Gond, Matae and also various Jat and Gujjar clans, came in existence during a yagya organised by Shankaracharya at Mount Abu, Rajasthan in the 9th century. Hence the Rajputs embraced Brahmins as their “Purohits”.

==========================THE HARYANA OF HARRA RANA ================================
Around year 900 AD, the north eastern part of Haryana came under the rule of Chauhans of Raathwar (Neemrana) after a blood shed with the Pundir Rajputs the ruler of the region at that time. This historical article would take you through the ages during the golden age of Kshatriya Rajput rule in Haryana and Punjab before Muslims, Sikhs and then British invaded this country.
Rana Har Rai Dev Chauhan of Neemrana visited the region for Ganga Snaan in the year around 891 A.D. Rana Har Rai was child less and wanted to offer prayers at Haridwar to fulfil his wish as directed by the Rajpurohits. He started his journey with a small chauhan army and rajpurohits from Neemrana. On his way, one night he camped in the area near Karnal which was later he named by him as Jundla on account of Jand trees growing round it. The Rana and his army were very amazed to see the lush green and fertile land in the area around. His Purohits adviced him to stay and establish rule here, as they considered this area to be very auspicious for him and his off springs to live and grow.
During that time , the area was under the stronghold of Pundri Rajya established in 555 A.D by a Rajput Raja Madhukardev ji , who came also here from the region what is now called Telangana for Brahma Sarovar Snan at Thanesar. The Raghuvanshi Raja (The Ancestor of Harshvardhana) married his daughter to him and gave the area of 1440 villages to rule as dowry.
The Pundirs had established four forts in the region at Habri , Pundri , Pundrak and Churnigarh (near Chandigarh). To the south west of the Pundirs , there was the rule of Mandhars Rajputs. The Mandhar Rajputs came from Mewar here, Mandhar and Birgurjars Rajput (not to be confused with Gujjar) are the of Rajorgarh they are the descendent of Raja Ram chandar ji. One of their ruler Jindra eshtablished the city of Jindh. They expelled the Chandels and Barah (Parmar) Rajputs and took possession of the area (from Ghaggar in the north to Yamuna in the east), the Chandels went towards the Shivaliks ( Nalagarh of Punjab and Ramgharh of Panchkula Haryana) and the varah went beyond the river Ghaggar. After donating Jind to Brahmins. (which was later conquered by Bhatti hurt sikh , who were turned into jatts from Rajputs by giving throne to the son born of Jatani, as Rajputani wives of the ruler did not had any offspring )the Mandhars fixed their capital at Kalayat near Kaithal and also established local centres of Asandh, Safidon, and Gharaunda.
The Rana Har Rai dev Chauhan , after his returning from the Ganga Snaan went to Thanesar and requested the pundirs to give him few villages to settle and establish rule. The Pundirs denied and invited Chauhan army for a war as per the Kshatriya Rajput tradition to rule. The invitation was accepted by Rana . The Rana’s army started their rage on the fort of Pundri. It is said that Mandhars also helped Chauhans in this battle. The fort of Pundri was conquered but due to a heavy damage to the Rana’s army, the local army offended more powerfully over Rana’s army at the other forts. The Rana called for help from Neemrana. Uncles of Rana Rao Daalu and Rao Jaggar arrived with the army. The Chauhan army, then conquered the remaining fort of Habri, Pundak and Churni. The Pundirs were driven out their country and were thrown away beyond the river Yamuna in present day Uttar Pradesh. The Saga was so furious that not even a single village of Pundirs exists in Haryana now. As a symbol of treaty and sign of peace after battle Chauhans started taking daughters from Pundirs but didn’t use marry their daughters to them till very late dates. The Pundirs then established the rule at Mayapuri ( Haridwar) from the area extending from Haridwar to Muzzafarnagar districts in present day Uttar Pradesh.
After the victory ,Rana Har Rai gave 48 villages to Rao Daalu in the area around Nilokheri, to Rao Jagar 12 villages near Jagadhari , and Rao Pinjora, the son of a 3rd uncle, 24 villages including Mohna and Tauntha in Kaithal. Rana Har Rai got settled in Jundla, and ruled the region and the area got his name as Haryana meaning the place where descendants of Harra Rana lived. (later the meaning was changed to Hari ka Ana by rival castes, but Hari always arrived in Uttar Pradesh, Kurukshetra was the Karma bhoomi). The descendants of Rana Har Rana and the Chauhan army now lives in 164 Chauhan villages in the area falling in districts of Ambala , Yamunanagar, Karnal , Kurukshetra and Kaithal. The Raipur Rani, a small princely state (84 villages) near Naraingarh, Ambala was their last remaining state here. However , many Jageers under Chaubisi heads like Unheri , Teontha , Shahjadpur , Jundala etc. still exists which later came under British rule. A branch of these Chauhans also crossed Yamuna and ruled in the area of near Muzzafarnagar, where still Chaubisi of this trib

Read Ain i akbari records , Jatts were biggest Jamindar of Panjab Haryana . Baba Banda Bahadur was Khatri of soddhi gott. He was from Pandori village Jalandhar. You must read Persian records of Banda Bahadur times. Banda Bahadur Empire was not so big , mostly in Puadh region of Panjab and some Malwa and Doab belt. Banda Bahadur army Soldiers were mostly Jats.
