I'm from Staffordshire, and know members of the Stafford family. I was close with Lord Stafford's cousin, and used to coach drama students at their ancestral home. One time, I parked my ratty old car in front of the house next to a 1920's Rolls Royce, and went to the front door where the butler said, with clear reservations, that he would enquire if Miss Julia was available. She came out, and breezily said that there wasn't much to do today, and so to have a dip in the pool, then tea and croquet on the lawn at 4, ok? She was lovely
If you don't have the family tree that beginning part can be a bit confusing lol. Henry stafford is my 16th great grandfather. My stafford line left England in the early 1700s and landed in Delaware. Then they moved to Tennessee in the early 1800s then to Missouri in the mid 1800s. Finally settling in Northern California where I live now in the 1870s.

Often his welsh lands and titles are ignored or forgotten about... he was cousin of both magaret beaufourt ,countess of richmond & Henry VII & VIII.. all 5 shared prince john of ghent*gaunt & edward III as shared ancestors...
Hi, not a Ricardian here, but i do believe Edward IV serial married girls to bed them. That was the loophole, Richard siezed the throne from his nephews and maybe even had them killed.
