Robin Williams is the best villain in the world and If he was still alive then I would rank him as one of my favorites in the James Bond universe

Robin Williams is best as a villian. Yes, his comedy is great, a little syrupy sometimes but nothing beats his villians...and if you really want top tier Williams look no further than the thoroughly nasty but hilarious Rainbow Randolph.
I'd argue the very reason his portrayals of the villains were so great was specifically because we all saw him - and in our minds always first interprented - as the "funny man" with his roles.
Which is precisely why when he was a villain instead that he managed to hit that level of terrifying so easy as well. It was a "betrayal" of our expectations, like if a sweet, gentle grandma that smells of candy and baked rolls suddenly twisted someone head around without a remorse.
Because of that image we have of him it easily gave the feeling of uneasiness and the feeling that "something is wrong here..." whenever he played a role of a villain instead. And that's why he managed to be so scary, even if all he did was just stare in silence with a "bored" expression on his face.
Likewise, it also helped him a lot in other serious roles, even if they were not villains. Dr. Sean Maguire in Good Will Hunting, for an example. The second we realize he is playing a more serious character this time it gives again that same anxious feeling which in turn makes us focus on him more and take the character more seriously thanks to it.
And obviously, his portrayals also being good aided a long way besides those things.
Williams was one of those actors who managed to hit the JUST RIGHT amount of both script text dialogue and casual dialogue/acting on his portrayals. You could tell some of his lines were... well, just that, lines. But he also acted so chill and natural that it was also super easy to forget that he was just acting. Instead he made it feel like he had just wondered on the set and camera team just decided to film him interacting with others.
Sentinel Prime from Transformers: Dark of The Moon deserves an episode.

Walter Finch is worse than Sy Parrish. At least Sy feels empathy towards innocent people whom he knows don't deserve to get hurt. Walter was screwing with Dormer

Agreed. The way that I see it, Walter is precisely the type of person Sy could have turned into if he did not find a hobby to keep him away from his psychological anguish. The difference was more or less in their response to trauma.
@@user-wg6yk1bw4z I don't think Sy Parrish is a Villain or a Hero. I view Sy as more of a man who is lonely and doesn't have friends or a love life. All he has is his job which he says he's passionate about. He may have stalked a family and harassed Will Yorkin and the mistress but he never wanted to hurt anyone to begin with. He cares about children and doesn't want them to suffer the same abuse that he suffered as a child. He also empathizes with people whom he knows are innocent. But Sy is not a vigilante like Dexter Morgan. It could be argued that Sy was denied a childhood and he's most likely a child in an adult's body.
