Man, Quincy I could listen to you groove all day! Thank you for sharing and teaching your extensive grooving 😁knowledge with us. Your laid back approach and humor make this channel so much fun and I look forward to new goodies you post. Thank you Quincy! ❤️☮️
Some of the best information on the internet. The history, the Charleston and the basic nuts and bolts, making sure it swings hard. So much mileage to be gotten from these exercises. Excellent! Thanks Quincy!
Great information on all of your lessons. It was a pleasure to meet you at JEN 2022. You sounded great with the Roy Hargrove Tribute band too! Much love ❤️
Thanks Quincy for the great stuff again. For more advanced drummers I recommend to play ride with the weaker hand and charleston figure with the other. Really nice intependence challenge and developer.
Absolute legend. I had made a comment asking about independence a few weeks ago and Q delivers! Thanks so much for sharing this exercise. It'll be a part of my daily practice for the foreseeable future
Wow, this is soo good, it makes me as a beginner drummer feel like I’m getting somewhere. One thing, could you demo a matched grip way of snapping that snare please… ✌️🌻
Superb lessons as always and nice to here you talking again thats what I loved about your older videos! I hope you do some lessons on using the brushes!
Another spot on lesson, the high-hat technique was especially useful to me personally. I was using the rocking method before but after trying your technique I'm convinced it just sounds better, more powerful and crisp. A huge thanks for the downloads on your website, I grabbed this lesson and was very excited to find the Mozambique transcription as well, thanks again for all you do!
God that comping at the beginning so tasty, do you already have videos going through advanced comping like that? Triplet and eighth note comping between base drum / hi hat and ghost notes on snare?
My left hand is just not cooperating. I've pulled this down to just doing the base while I count out (out loud) the beats for the right. It's slowly coming along. I can do the ride, base, high-hat but when I put that left everything gets messed up. Just got to keep working it. Thanks for the challenge.
Hi Quincy, thanks for your videos) I'm from Russia, and I'm sorry for my English) Could you tell us something about 3/4 grooves. I've seen a poster in russian language, on one of a older video, it's fan))) you have many subscribers from St. Petersburg. We appreciate your work!)
Not gonna lie, that's one of the most helpful, if not the most helpful of all of the lesson videos I've seen.
Excellent
I dig the slipper cam.
Gotta be comfortable:)
The basic jazz beat is a thing of beauty!
Amen!

Left hands can be very stubborn but we gotta just keep pushing and kicking their butts. After while, they start to shape up. LOL Be patient Randall:)
Hey Quincy how important is it to read drum music can you do some videos on that. your playing is amazing Jacque
If you want to be a professional musician, these days I think it is very important. I will do a video on that in the future. Thanks Crystal!
