Do we all.... I been waiting for years for a new and real Rayman game since after Hoodlum Havoc... I know Arena/M, Origins, and Legends is all great games but come on Ubisoft... give us a new 3D platformer one.
Rayman is kinda my dream platformer character as a person who barely touches the genre except for megaman and rayman. Rayman make me scream in excitement, great remix too love how it feels so much like rayman yet with a smash twist thanks for this remix.
My ideas for Rayman's moveset: Neutral A: Jabs. With each press of the button, Rayman performs a series of three jabs with the last one being faster and slightly more powerful. Forward tilt: Roundhouse. Rayman performs a roundhouse kick. Up tilt: Uppercut. Rayman performs a quick punch straight up in the air. Very useful for catching jumping opponents off-guard. Down tilt: Sweep kick. Rayman performs a quick sweep kick. Very useful against small/light characters.. Forward Smash: Charge punch. Rayman winds up his fist before throwing it in front of him enlarged. Powerful, but very short range. Up Smash: Charge uppercut. Same as his forward Smash, only upwards. Down Smash: Ground Slam. Rayman throws himself straight down to the ground. Dash attack: Spinning fists. Rayman spins his fists around him as he dashes. Grab: Lockjaw. Rayman throws a steel-trap attached to a chain in front of him. Can also be used as a tether maneuver for recovery. Neutral air: Jump kick. Rayman throws his foot a very short distance in front of him. Forward air: Hammer. Rayman slams both his fists straight down. A very good spiking tool if timed correctly. Back air: Aerial roundhouse. A combination of Rayman's forward tilt and neutral air. Up air: Upwards kick. Rayman throws his foot a very short distance above him. Slightly more damaging than his up tilt, but barely noticeable. A very good juggling tool. Down air: Body shot. Rayman throws his torso straight down before returning to him. Can be used to spike opponents, but very risky since Rayman falls straight down after using this move. Neutral B: Telescopic fist. Rayman throws his fist a short distance before returning to him. Rayman can also charge up his fist to make it fly farther and deal slightly more damage. Left/right B: Shock rocket. Rayman throws a missile which can home into opponents. Very useful against quicker characters, but it has limited uses. Up B: Super helicopter. Rayman uses his hair as a helicopter to propel himself straight up in the air. A very versatile move to either recover, get away from tough situations or if aimed correctly, cause massive damage to the opponents if they are right above Rayman. Down B: Plum/Keg drop. Rayman drops either a big plum or an explosive keg which he immediately picks up and can throw at the opponents. The plum does little to no damage, but can stick on top of the opponents' head which makes them slow down considerably for a while. The keg does massive damage, but Rayman himself CAN be hurt from the explosion! Final Smash: Hoodstomper. Rayman summons the Hoodstomper machine and tramples the opponents with it.
Here's mine: A attacks: Dash attack: Rayman will swing his fists around him while running, based on his dash attack from Rayman Legends. Jab: Rayman will do his 3 hit punch from Origins and Legends. Ftilt: Rayman will do a roundhouse kick, based on his running attack combo from Rayman Legends. Utilt: Rayman will do a punch upwards which can be repeated up to 3 times. The third hit will have increased knockback, and with a bigger fist. Based on the facing upwards attack from Rayman Legends. Dtilt: Rayman does a sweeping kick based off of Rayman Origins. Fsmash: Rayman winds up a punch, and RELEASES HIS FIST! This is based off of the charged attack from Legends and Origins. The more you charge it, the more range it covers, the more damage it does, and the size of the fist increases. Usmash: Rayman winds up a punch and uppercuts. Basically the Fsmash but angled upwards. Based off of the upwards facing Charge ttack from Legends and Origins. Again, the more you charge, the more damage it deals. Dsmash: Rayman punches the ground SO HARD it causes a shockwave. Based off of the ground pound move from Legends. Aerial attacks: Nair: Rayman Revolution: Rayman rotates his fists, feet, and head around him wildly. Partially based on his roll attack from Origins and Legends. Fair: Brings two fists down, based on his second air attack in Origins. Meteors. Bair: Kicks backward. Uair: Kicks upward. Based on the upwards aerial attack from Origins. Dair: Rayman dives straight down, and punches a foe unlucky enough below him. This spikes and sends Rayman upwards during a successful hit, but sends Rayman STRAIGHT DOWN if there's no one below, so use it wisely. This is based on the ground pound from Rayman Legends, again. Grabs: Rayman will grab with his LockJaw, a bear trap attached to a chain with a handle to grab it with. Rayman will pummel by sending an electric current from the LockJaw to the enemy. Fthrow: Rayman will chuck the foe forwards with two hands, based from his throw animation from Rayman 2. Bthrow: Rayman will swing the foe around a few times and throw him backwards. Uthrow: Rayman will pick the foe with two hands, do the carry animation from Legends and Origins and push the foe upwards. Dthrow: Rayman will perform his crush attack on the foe. Specials: Neutral B: Rayman will do his trusty Telescopic Fist move from Rayman 1 and 3. You can jump and move forward and backward, but you won’t turn. This will function like how it was in the games. The more you charge it, the more damage it deals and the more distance it covers. To throw your fist, release the special button. This can hit foes from behind, just like in the games. To check if your punches are fully charged, there will be a trail behind Rayman’s winding fist. When fully charged, Rayman’s fist will look like the Heavy Metal Fist with a trail when released, referencing the powerup of the same name and the Speed Fist from the original Rayman game. To make the game balanced, a fully charged telescopic fist will not hit foes from behind. Side B: Rayman will shoot a Shock Rocket at the foe. This can be aimed by holding down B and moving the control stick, and to fire the rocket, release B. Keep in mind you can control the trajectory of the missile, and are also wide open for attacks. Down B: A plum will spawn out of thin air and on Rayman’s hands. Rayman can carry the plum, and throw it using special. Players can hop on the plum and influence its direction by attacking. If the plum lands on anyone’s head, it will reverse the foe’s controls for a few seconds, with the plum comically on the foe’s head. If used in the air, Rayman will throw the plum downwards, hoping for the plum to land on someone’s head. Rayman can jump off the plum, too. Up B: Rayman will use his ThrottleCopter powerup, and he dons a helmet that turns his hair into a LEGIT HELICOPTER. Rayman can fly in any direction for a short time and will enter freefall when the powerup duration ends. And yes, the blades deal damage. Final Smash: Rayman runs at the foe, then throws a punch. Anyone hit will trigger a cutscene where Rayman whistles, which summon his friends, and they all strike a pose, reminiscent of the Rayman origins intro, the screen goes black with a series of impact effects that are EXACTLY like the ones in the Rayman Origins intro, and after those impact effects are shown, the foe is seen laying on the ground in a heap. But that doesn’t mean the final smash is done though! Rayman is seen winding up his fist, and punching the foe. The foe hits several constellations, then hits a planet that cracks due to the sheer force of the punch. The view then cuts to Rayman and co., looking at the sky with debris which was formerly a planet.

(This is a rant to get my frustrations out) As much as I want him in smash Ubisoft have a strangle hold on him and despite this they don't use him, like at all. It was his 25th birthday recently and Ubisoft didn't even acknowledge him, the Rabbits always have the spotlight now and it pisses me off. Not to mention he is already in brawlhalla which only makes things less likely for him to get an invite. We can dream but lets be honest...there is only 1 (Maybe 2) more slots for fighters. Don't get me wrong because I really love what sakuri does but after steve my interest and faith in the characters added dropped more and more. With sephioth I thought "Oh...uhhh cool I guess, I'm not into final fantasy but it makes sense seeing as all of the good guys are getting their rivals! perhaps we will have robotnic at some point for sonic!" Then with pyra and mythra it went to "Well that is a disappointing, I would have preferred Rex honestly if we were to have another Xenoblade rep...but I still have faith that the next one will be interesting!" but when it got to Kazuya I just facepalmed and said "Alright, I give up. This last one will have to be big like Waluigi if it hopes to get me hyped again.". If you like these characters then that's fine but to me and many others they just aren't very interesting.

So before I knew it wrote an essay XD. I'm not saying that the characters themselves are bad or that they are badly designed/implemented. I think sakurai and team did a good job they just don't really stand out to me from a choice perspective if that makes sense so I kinda find them forgettable. I guess I just like the more quirky and unexpected but not impossible characters like Rayman, CrazyDave, soldier from TF2, e.t.c.
There Is A Potential Way To Get Rayman In Smash Tho: Ubisoft Is A Really Big Fan Of Nintendo Or More Specifically Davide Soliani (Or More Well None As 'Don't Cry Ubisoft Man') Is A Huge Fan Of Shigeru Miyamoto (Creator Of Mario + A Lot Of Other Stuff) Which Ultimatley Led Into Creating Mario Rabbids Kingdom Battle SO If Nintendo Asks Ubisoft if They Could Put Rayman In Smash Then It's Likely That Ubisoft Would Be All In. Adding To That Is The Fact That It Seems To Be A Big Honour To Have Character Representation In Super Smash Bros. Toby Fox Is An Example Of This Were He Made A Twitter Post About How Was Really Happy How Sans Is A Mii Costume In Smash, And That's Just A Mii FIghter Costume!! So Think How Much More Ubisoft Would Accept. I Didn't Write This To Get Your Hopes Up BUT I Did Just To Lighten Up The Mood... i guess?
I know how you feel... I understand how frustrating it is that each reveal trailer it isn't one that has Rayman being the next playable fighter in Ultimate. And sure, I respect that it's a character that some people would like, but it's still painful each time a new DLC fighter is announced and it ends up not being Rayman. But don't lose hope! I've been rooting for Rayman to be in Smash ever since Smash 4, back when they had ballot requests opened for DLCs and each time I've voted for him. Of course he didn't make it in (he did as a trophy, though that doesn't count), but maybe in Ultimate this could be his chance. Also just because Ubisoft doesn't care doesn't mean we should let that stop us from hoping he could make it in. I'm not trying to change your mind, you're free to feel however you want and I respect that :)

Rayman Legends was one of the best in the series, and will probably remain the best, assuming that UberShit ever decides to make another Rayman game. The music there is an absolute banger, just like Rayman Origins. Please make a remix of one of them!
This is an fantastic remix! This reminded me of a conversation I've had with a friend of mind that if Rayman were to make it into Smash, his theme from Rayman M/Arena should make it in. And as someone whose a huge Rayman fan, I still believe that the Glade of Dreams Hero has a shot in making it into Smash. To me he deserves it. Also if it isn't too much to ask, I'd love to see how you could remix Reflux - Fallen Knaaren Warrior AKA first phase of the final boss from Rayman 3.
@@ChimpsR4 They did do one, but it's not an actual remix in the style of Smash, it's just shortly after a specific part of the original theme on loop then eventually the ending. I like it sure but that's not what I call a Smash remix.

Rayman's reveal trailer literally could not have music better than this. We'll be lucky to see him in the next Smash game seeing as there'll be a lot less 3rd party reps, but it's not impossible.
Fun fact: This guy doesn’t really male these songs. He actually secretly works for Nintendo, and these are songs that’ll be put into ultimate with more dlc.

God I miss when Rayman got games.
Rayman Legends was one of the best in the series, and will probably remain the best, assuming that UberShit ever decides to make another Rayman game. The music there is an absolute banger, just like Rayman Origins. Please make a remix of one of them!

This is an fantastic remix! This reminded me of a conversation I've had with a friend of mind that if Rayman were to make it into Smash, his theme from Rayman M/Arena should make it in.
And as someone whose a huge Rayman fan, I still believe that the Glade of Dreams Hero has a shot in making it into Smash. To me he deserves it.
Also if it isn't too much to ask, I'd love to see how you could remix Reflux - Fallen Knaaren Warrior AKA first phase of the final boss from Rayman 3.
I really love the addition of the banjo here, as well the extra brass horn at the end.
We all need Rayman in smash.

@@ChimpsR4 They did do one, but it's not an actual remix in the style of Smash, it's just shortly after a specific part of the original theme on loop then eventually the ending. I like it sure but that's not what I call a Smash remix.

Rayman's reveal trailer literally could not have music better than this. We'll be lucky to see him in the next Smash game seeing as there'll be a lot less 3rd party reps, but it's not impossible.
