While you're right in saying you're getting older and it changes how you view things in general, I've seen you in the flesh several times and I've seen other pros live in the flesh and one thing stands out for me in your riding and how you ride as compared to others… Your style is more fluid and you have a control that makes it look effortless. I realize these kids today have pushed the envelope, but I KNOW that if you wanted to, you could train and get stronger and in better shape than you've ever been in and you'd probably surprise yourself in being able to compete at the highest level. And that's based on your natural (Hate to use that word given how many years of hard work you put into making it look effortless) given ability. I'm likely one of your oldest fans (I started following you because I got my kids scooters and found your channel for them and I fell in love with your channel and positive content - No Homo - I'm sure you remember me) and as a former BMX rider and Paintball player, I see this other level ability in you that you seem to no longer recognize in yourself, but I think what's really going on is LIFE! As we get older we see a broader picture and once upon a time the ONLy thing that mattered was Scootering and winning comps, but today you have so much more that makes up Raymond Warner that while most of all that is you revolves around the sport and industry, now you have so many more layers that it's vastly more difficult for you to focus solely on the riding aspect of it, particularly in/for competition. Ryan Williams isn't much younger than you and he's doing amazing things STILL and I know that if you decided to seriously dedicate yourself to competition riding you could learn all the new tricks (no kicklesses or Buttersups - LOL) you could put together runs that would rival all the current great comp riders. Sadly, I suffered from a growth disorder that literally relegated me to just walking for most of my life after needed a hip replacement from the age of 13 so I never got to enjoy growing into the top athlete I was headed towards, but seeing guys like you and R-Willy, Clayton, and several others, I feel inspired and that's not something many people can do. Ironically, this isn't some inspirational speech, I just wanted to take the time to give back a little of what you give to all these kids who love and worship you and your audience in general (myself included). You're a really good person and juuuust in case, I wanted to take the time and do and say something nice FOR YOU. Thanks for never straying (much - you always seem to find your way back when things get too awry) from the person you've always been and for being kind, honest and sincere in all you do. Much love.

Absolutely. It is all about your willingness to learn and your determination. I’ve got a couple buddies that started riding again not long ago and are about the same age. It’s just another thing to learn. You’ve got this regardless of your age. 👍🏼
