Outstanding! That is some of the sickest harmonica playing ever! WOW! The guitar player reminds me of like a Dick Dale Surf Guitar style. Well done! The drummer, OMG! Dude is fire! Kudos to the bass too!
Either your Mic doesnt handle the amount of sound that harmonica makes or everything for mic is set too loudly or something, its over the "top" as for sound, cant realy enjoy the sound of pure harmonica, its like in many bars where there is live performance... But besides that, very great!
Never claimed to be. I love Little Sonny’s Old records & had him on Blowout in 2005 in Arkansas. And I bet you don’t know what position I’m playing in here??
In my opinion this is the best version of the Creeper Returns I've heard, and my wife agrees - so not much else matters, Anytime we have a rough day we play this video and it picks us up immediately. Would love to see him play this live someday..

I never heard such a dirty hard harmonica sound before. I love it!
Fantastic!!
Fabulous cover!!!
recomiendo humilidemente la version de la mississippi de Argentina, para escuchar.
thank you very much.
Awesome tone Roly. I've been spending time with my Lee Oscar Natural minor harps. Love them. See you on Hornby soon!
Awesome!
Wicked❤
Great music, great post !!!
The best!
drummer 🔥🔥🔥
Big hummel🎉
Muy buena banda,
awesome take on this in 3rd position!
He's using an A-Harp right?
@@josephnicholson7010 yes.
Superb.
Genial!
Марк ,таки Да!!!
i feel like the mic adds to the sound like fuzz on guitar
Its the combination of mic and amp. If they don't match...then there is no magic.
♥♥♥
Genio ídolo después le pregunto
The guitarist is obviously a Jazz guy and does his best. And then here comes Mark with his harp. 😂😂😂
What key harp
@@markwalmsley5892 I'm guessing E.
A
😉👍😎
how do I achieve this tone
Lots of practice and come to SPAH!
@@Dr.Pepperdave hahaha what's SPAH? I think the last word is harmonica, lol.
Sounds very much like Paul Butterfield.
Great but not the same feel as Little Sonny.Harder to replicate than most may imagineJim.Liverpool.
He does it in cross harp. I’m playing in 3rd position. I Love Little Sonny & had him play at King Biscuit fest with us in 2005
Great band could use a sound man.
Sounds great without one.
La hace sonar como una guitarra por momentos!

Pspisripoff SAY WHAT???
It sounds like some good blues overdrive to me with some great playing!
Agreed. He's too loud for the band. That's what happens when a harp player heads his own band. Joking
The volume's okay, he's just replicating the tone Little Sonny used
He's no little Sonny..

Little Sonny would be proud about Mark's version...it's awesome
So what?? Since when do you need to be the original to play a magnificent cover? Makes no sense to me.
Little Sonny ain't Mark Hummel either!!!
You KILL IT here Mark great JOB!!
3rd position??
This actually sucks
really....how does it suck???
And blows!!
@@markhummel7656 lol Greetings from South Africa
The correct verb is "draw", not suck ;). Besides, it's an awesome cover of a great Little Sonny original.
