Revok once said “There’s no pot of gold at the end of this rainbow.” If that’s true, for all the punishment & scrutiny & sacrifice & stress these artists suffer for their medium, past or present, for all that effort, focus,& discipline misguided or not, whatever one’s outlook on their form of expression may be, don’t these artist’s deserve something positive? Saber is also quoted as saying “ I’m not selling out. I’m cashing in” & maybe they owe that to themselves, if to no one else.
Been doing this shit 25 years and even though Revok might honestly be the biggest fuckin prick I’ve ever met in the graffiti game…..he’s 100% right. There ain’t nothing but heartache and hurt that comes along with this game. Best worst decision i ever made.
