Have to strangely brag for Tom. Yes, he's been doing it a long time. He had a blog/forum and website in the 90's during his time at Roger's, I think? Also, his webovision that he slowly pieced together with his technologist (and eventually a second) in the mid 2000s IMHO was the first video podcast with guests and interviews. I think the technologists name was Victor. He had celebrity guests over, impromptu house bands, Larry hosted (his ventriloquist dummy), Tom would read from his favorite book as a child (which he received multiple copies from fans and placed them on a bookshelf). He has a great 90's daytime tv kids-show narrator voice. He needs to bring that back. Eventually after a few renditions of his studio (living room), they wired the entire rig to a switch on toms desk. He could come home wound up, press button, and take skype and phone calls with his fans all night. Eventually, wary of bringing people into his house anymore, he rented a studio and let people guest host as Tom got back into standup and touring... for a time, the webovision dissapeared (read in Lord of the Rings narration voice). Then Joe Rogan, influenced by Tom, started his. Gervais was there early as well. However, as far as I know, I think Tom (like many times before) was on the forefront of broadcasting. He got there early, dropped the mic and left... well, actually, he picked up the mic and toured.
