I can say that having your friend ask a few questions is not a very good test. Honestly I think it is far better to just sit down with the other person and ask what they are looking for in this relationship. By the end you should have a pretty good idea of where you stand. Just be direct and honest. Beating around the bush and asking indirect questions just causes confusion and misunderstanding.
