Hey Lizzie, I think you should add some cracks in the ground with layouts of purple and black glass so it look like scary creepy liquid undergoung and kind off matches the aesthetic your going for this season, also I would help get rid of some of the plainness.

Lizzie really needs to take over the server and become the evil queen. It is necessary.
stone rocks, buttons, coarse dirt, mushrooms and some custom trees might help with how uniform the mycelium looks. I like that it matches the color palette now though! And if you're brave enough to go back in your amethyst mine, I've seen people use amethyst as a flower substitute.
Usually when someone is building something spooky you'd want to have a spooky basement but since her whole base is scary I was thinking maybe instead of the stereotypical spooky basement she could build a cutsie basement with the cherry blossom materials from the cherry blossom trees she passed by, so that way she could have a little bit of cutness while still being spooky. And since it's a basement it could be easily hidden and out of sight. 🌸🖤

You could still use pink like the cherry wood blocks. Your colors seem to be mostly purple and dark colors. Doing a sweet-n-evil or cute-but-evil kind of thing with black/purple/pink is absolutely a valid "spooky" aesthetic

Tbh I could actually see Cherry logs fitting in with the aesthetic, the leaves and the planks probably wouldn't but the logs are like dark and purply which kinda fits with the amethyst

Cherry blossom trees actually match the mycelium quite well. They could be your spooky pink trees! And they would match your color pallet instead of just having the regular oak trees. Or you can do warped wood trees too.
The crimson wood would be really cool too!

In any server Lizzie joins, she'll always cause chaos
“Supreme survival skills” after hearing lightning and diving INTO water
you could add a bunch of those nether grass thingys and non-green greenery that fits the area to make it less bland but still blend in with the mycelium and look good
A way to still use the cherry wood would making scary custom trees with scary faces (i forgot the name of these trees) would be a cool addition and keep the spookyness~~ since the bark of the tree is a dark purple would fit with the mycelium
Lizzie, maybe selling cursed candles is NOT a good idea,

lizzie, with your mycelium you can put mushroom themed things (or mycelium themed whichever,) all around your land, maybe bring mushroom lights from the nether? And a mushroom cow of course. And I recommend putting mangrove roots on top of tree logs to bring out the dead trees you can put in your base! With the brown little cactus things that drop sticks in the desert!

Mycelium are fungus. Specifically they are a mat of hyphae which are the part of the fungus that absorbs nutirents and are basically the actual fungus. The mushroom you see in are the fruiting body of basidiomycetes, a phylum of fungus. I just had my exam on this yesterday lol
I have a few ideas for some builds that could make the place not so empty:
-you could make giant wither roses (or just use normal wither roses)
-you could make like little half spheres of glass around your animal farms
-you could make random bone structures around the place
-you could make amythist spikes around the place

The mycelium looks cute. You should mix in nylium with warped nylium to give more color
