"One of Seattle's best live bands, if not the best!" That is how KEXP describes the True Loves and I have to agree. Jimmy James is at the helm playing all the notes. With David McGraw on drums & Bryant Moore on bass the pocket is fully dialed. Lolo Bello rounds out the back beat on percussion and groove vibrations. Then we have the horns! Mr. Peter Daniel might have had to sit during the set due to a broken foot but that didn't stop him from crushing the low end with his baritone sax. Gordon Brown rounded out the woodwinds on tenor sax laying down a solid groove all night long. Finally we have Greg Kramer on trombone filling the room with pure happiness.
It was a show that will make me smile for years to come. Be sure to check out the True Loves if you have a chance. Shake a Thang!
