@Jim Harol I tried with Atreus arrows it doesn't work. And the mid air move is to fast to anticipate with the Axe... Playing on Give me God of War. I honestly can't find a way around getting hit and blinded by that move
Her forward dash where she either does an over head hit with her wing or the unblockable wing stab... How do you always know which o e is coming? She always opens me up with that 50/50 move where u either have to block the one or dash the other
@@Gameplay-nt8uq you have to watch which way she moves before she comes for you. If she glides to the left she'll come at you with her regular attack and you block/parry. If she glides to the right you dodge.
Matthew Mills the Valkyries are actually easy once you learn how to react to each of their animations. It takes a little timing, and you have to to keep moving, but I’ve found that the block breaker, throwing the axe, and periodic runic attacks are really helpful. That, and it’s probably better to not try parrying all of their attacks.
yup it's tough it just takes a lot of practice I have beaten her many times on give me a challenge without getting hit you just gotta try your best to memorize her attacks and try and predict what attack she's gonna do
Its not really surprising if you spend enough time memorizing the move sets and what works best against them its not hard at all it becomes more of a chore at that point
Since yesterday, i watched some of your gameplay vids. You mastered this game. Bravo. It took me a lot of tries to understand how to avoid the blind attack. I think they did a great job with this boss, at first she seemed imposdible, but with concentration and learning how to react to each of her attacks, it became a great fight.
Just beat her yesterday on GMGOW in preparation of the sequel! It's interesting seeing other ppl's builds and how that affects the tempo of the fight. I went with a full runic build, so all my damage were from runic attacks, which made the fight more flashy and hectic. I also took some silly risks by abusing protective barrier to spam through some of the attacks, felt good when it worked lol. But your run here looks so much more calm and calculated compared to mine, which is probably the way to go since any small mistakes are punishable by death on this difficulty, especially with Sigrun. Ultimately, learning and perfecting all the patterns is the key, no matter the build.
I beat her on give me a challenge with the endless mist gauntlets, cursed mist chest armor and valk waist guard. Took me 4 tries if memory serves. To be fair, I beat some of the earlier valks on normal, but still, I had a hard time.

This fight took me 4-5 hours on normal. I thought I'll throw the controller in my tv, man I was so pissed. This was one of the most challenging fights I've had in years, holy shit it felt good when I finished it 😆

I use the ice troll and the freezing ice on the axe and on the blades Hyperion grapple and nemesis crush. Talisman I use the boars because it stuns them a lot. When they are in the air and want to make that special attack all you need to do is press square and atreus will shoot them and stop their attack but you need to use shock arrows. If you want to avoid the attack where they swift to a side and than launch at you with a red attack you need to evade in the direction they swifted in because they attack with the opposite wing.use the Hyperion grapple and nemesis when she finishes a red attack. Don't waste time always keep your distance and remember to use your shield while evading. Use the freezing axe with the talisman to maximize the damage. And always and I means always keep your rage meter for the end of the fight because the closer they are to dying the more aggressive they get.
Niiiiiiice. She kicks my ass every time. Doesn't matter how maxed out I am lol she puts the hurt on. I'm glad the makers did this tho, just cause you're maxed out doesn't mean everything/bosses should be easy.

SmvR Well I'm always using Deadly mist anyway I figured by the stats (and Max level) it would be best all around. I prefer higher strength stats because of the positive effect on standard combat... And most importantly I love the look of the deadly mist set the best lol
What pommel did you use for the blades? She's the only valkyrie left for me to beat man. I'm using the Valkyrie set (fully upgraded) with pommels that are also fully upgraded. I'm seriously desperate to beat her!
I wish this game had a feature where you could take their wings,and use them as your own. But as I watched further progression in this game,I saw that it would be useless. Still a good idea. Maybe they'll (The Valkyrie) will show up in the next game,and offer Kratos a pair of wings for an aerial fight with some enemies or a big boss.

Yeah,Mimir is definitely getting a new body from the dwarves. But I'm anticipating a fight between Kratos,Thor,Odin,and Freya in the next game. We might even see him fight against some other legendary mythical creatures in the next one. I'm also predicting the ending to that game,will place Kratos into Egypt's underworld realm,and he'll have a cliffhanger scene setting him up for "God of War 6".

I'm getting close to her now on give me God of war (on new game+ as well) and boy on new game + she is very tough with her new attacks I can't imagine how difficult she will be on give me God of war luckily I have practiced and learned her new attacks on hard difficulty (give me a challenge) and I beat her atleast 15 times taking no damage only problem her Valhalla attack (the on where she jumps in the air and comes back down) she's much faster with that attack and I'm gonna have to get used to that but I'm confident that I can beat her I just gotta make sure I don't get hit too much or don't get hit at all.
How are you able to use that realm shift so many times without cool down? And never knew you can counter that slam she does by throwing your ax. Pretty much went through half the valkyries just taking those hits cause I thought they were unstoppable

Ok I don’t know why but for me I defeated her on give me a challenge and if she does that unblockable ground attack with wave that she does she also throws like projectiles at you and does an unblockable and another thing is when she does that gondul thing where it gets you with light if you dont dodge it she does it like three times or two or with an blockable attack🤨

That one attack she does is yellow on your screen, like it can be blocked, but its ALWAYS a red attack in my fight with her. Mad props to you bro, but Sigrun looks like she's taking it easy.

Well I did it :D I beat her last night on god difficulty. I find it so hilarious you can just turn around to avoid her blinding attack. I can't believe that's all I had to do xD starting new game plus now. Wish me luck!
She can slide to the right: This means she will do the unblockable lunge, so be ready to evade to the right. Sliding to the left: Block for the wing slashing attacks.
Another tip, the wing slashes are easy to exploit with kvasir. You can slow time with both slashes, Dodge left for the first, and right for the second. I usually block the first one and time slow the second. Then you can use a runic to stun her out of her next move usually but sometimes it doesn't.
Something is different now. Even on "Give me a Story" this thing is a lot faster than in this video. I think there was a patch that made this a lot harder. I've been ticking it off and I've tried 50 times now and can't do it. It's really making me hate myself.

I always forget that blocking actually blocks all damage... too use to playing Dark Souls...
Obviously it's a shield. Not a hand block. What'd you expect?
On Dark Souls depending on what shield you use you can also block all damage.
Finally. Someone that understands that Blue arrows are the better choice for bosses because they increase your damage output.

Ok I don’t know why but for me I defeated her on give me a challenge and if she does that unblockable ground attack with wave that she does she also throws like projectiles at you and does an unblockable and another thing is when she does that gondul thing where it gets you with light if you dont dodge it she does it like three times or two or with an blockable attack🤨

This was a great video, and I'm not hating, but I find it hard to believe that this is give me god of war difficulty. That one attack she does is yellow on your screen, like it can be blocked, but its ALWAYS a red attack in my fight with her. Mad props to you bro, but Sigrun looks like she's taking it easy.

Well I did it :D I beat her last night on god difficulty. I find it so hilarious you can just turn around to avoid her blinding attack. I can't believe that's all I had to do xD starting new game plus now. Wish me luck!

How tf do you know wether she is gonna make an unblockable attack when she slides to the side, and goes quickly at you, or the blockable?
She can slide to the right: This means she will do the unblockable lunge, so be ready to evade to the right. Sliding to the left: Block for the wing slashing attacks.

Another tip, the wing slashes are easy to exploit with kvasir. You can slow time with both slashes, Dodge left for the first, and right for the second. I usually block the first one and time slow the second. Then you can use a runic to stun her out of her next move usually but sometimes it doesn't.

Something is different now. Even on "Give me a Story" this thing is a lot faster than in this video. I think there was a patch that made this a lot harder. I've been ticking it off and I've tried 50 times now and can't do it. It's really making me hate myself.
