Namaskar Karl! Please, I am a new subscriber and I love languages, cultures and geography among other things. I live in Hamilton New Zealand and have learnt a bit of hindi and want to continue to progress with the language. Thank you for your awesome content! I've really enjoyed the videos of your trip to Pakistan lately so please keep them coming!! Aap bohut aache hai! Dhanyavaad brother 😄
BTW I didn't realize this, but I live a few hundred metres away from that restaurant Dhaba on highway so I will be going there for not only beautiful food but beautiful language 🪶🕊✌️🙏🥲
Difficult to survive, once we are addicted to Indian spicy food, and Indian cuisine abroad is adapted to palates not used to ( full power spicy food) and is not often the real thing. This Indian restaurant is unique.
As a pakistani expat living on the east coast .. thank you ...thank you for letting us ....making us ..appreciate our own culture and food. I enjoy your videos so much . Wish you the best and contentment .
What an authentic Indian experience in NZ! Todd's hindi, the butter on paranthas and the garden were just too good! Drone shots were out of this world. Amazing video bro, simply superb!
This is one super video Karl. The happy look on Manisha's face during the whole trip to Hamilton was priceless. Your friend Todd speaks Hindi beautifully and boy was Manisha surprised. And then to have authentic Indian thali in that cool dhaba, followed by the gorgeous Mughal gardens reminiscent of Agra--was the icing on the cake. I sure hope your sas and sasur and parivar got to see this wonderful video. And your expression Karl was priceless. You were so proud to do this for Manu and it showed. You nailed it my friend!
So happy that you are both enjoying the experience in NZ. I must thank you for all your videos as I learnt a lot. My ancestors were from India and I am rediscovering the place and culture through your videos. Thank you.
Happy 74th Republic Day to you both, Manisha and Karl. I'm watching it live on television from America and this is one of the most beautiful parades I have ever seen! Jai Hind! God bless India! Take good care and let us know when you're back in Bharat!

Karl always amazes me. A person from a faraway land trying hard to remind us of our culture, our heritage, that's built on tolerance and respect to other culture, other religious beliefs. Coexistence in peace, thy name is Bharat. Karl is much more Bharatiya than many of us desis can ever claim to be.
Very well put together video KR I must say, great to see you together with your wife and also your teacher Todd, those drone shots were stunning. Thanks for the update. :)
What a beautiful couple you guys are ! Wish you spread happiness the way you did - even watching this video I could feel the warm emotions running through.
When ever I watch your channel, it's still so surprising to sees you and Manisha together. If I was traumatized by your forced separation, I can't imagine how hard it was for you both. So glad you are both together now.
It is hard to live abroad , especially in countries like these where the constant hustle and bustle and noise is absent. It feels like the world has come to a startling stop and definitely takes a while to get accustomed. It is also very hard to meet or just casually start a conversation with people in a country like New Zealand, where population is sparse compared to India. As a fellow Indian living abroad I can understand the feeling of being away from home, but Karl is our inspiration of how one can fit in and become one with a totally different setting , change peoples minds and find home once again with entirely different people.
happy new Karl and Manisha i hope its a great year for you both as for the garden if you did not know any better you would think you where in India it was beautiful. it was so nice to see Manisha so happy thanks for sharing this with us all much love and respect from the UK
Great seeing Manisha Ji having authentic and yummy Indian food in beautiful Hamilton NZ,which by the way the aerial views of Hamilton as well as of the Mughal Garden are SENSATIONAL, so glad you put in english subtitles when Manisha Ji and your friend Todd talk in Hindi,😂 as for the Indian music I may not be East Indian, but being part American Indian* may be the reason why I love Indian music, like the ads that pop up here with some Indian pop song. Jai Hind Karl Ji, 👍and greetings 👋from central Mexico. * I once read in an edition of NatGeo that the people of Assam are of the same bronze color and physical features as my American Indian ancestors, so maybe that's why I like Indian stuff.😊
Namaste Karl 🙏 Amazing vlog and information as usual Wants to Admit here your love for India is Unconditional & Pure Besides what was happened in the past 😢 Thank you & Appreciated Welcome to Incredible India 🙏💓🌹✌️👏😊🇮🇳
Manisha is more Indian than any Indian. Others would have migrated at the first instance but not her. Karl knows her so very well and respects/loves her for this very reason.
I lived in New Zealand until 1985. During that time the only Indian restaurant in Auckland was Ashiana and Raj Bombay take away. When I returned after 25 years, I visited an Indian restaurant specialising in Dosa and a punjabi restaurant near the Tower. The food was sublime. Also saw an indian take away near green valley and a few srilankan shops. When I visited Wellington, I observed a chain known as Namaste, and a few indian food outlets in food halls. It was amazing to see so many indian restaurants.
i don't know if manisha di u will read this or not..but ur ur life's journey and thought are very similar to mine like a parallel i have drawn with u..from ur personality to fashion sense everything is perfect..love u ❤
Good to see you both back together. Glad Manisha liked the food, I can totally relate to the lack of desi punch in dishes served here in NZ. If you happen to come to Wellington, I'd be glad to host you both and maybe cook some home made biryani too. Love from the windy city. 😊
TY Bro Karl and Sis Manu for showing us Little India in NZ! I appreciated it I remember I tried Chicken tikka masala and it's delicious. We have large Indian communities here in the USA.
Todd is now my HIndi teacher (thanks to you showing your Urdu journey a while back). Both Todd and his wife are the humblest kind humans ever. Anyone in New Zealand looking to learn a language through Earth Diverse welcome. I hope our Hindi class will get to meet both you and your wife one day too! Please visit NZ again soon.
While watching today, I am thinking about how happy you both must be to be together. The last few years have been such a journey for you both. Namaste 🙏
The concept of an Indian restaurant is commercially westernised. I am Tamil, our cuisine is different much more similar to southeast Asian curry. We use tamarind, mango and coconut which isn't used in Hindustani food much. Moreover their food uses ghee and nuts.
Omg this is beautiful 😍 IDK HOW your videos came on my feed! Love it. I'm from a Muslim originally Fiji but live in Auckland now. I'm not from Pakistan or India but our greatest ancestors were from India. You guys should visit Fiji, loads and loads of Indians are there. You will absolutely love the tropical vibes!!! ❤️
Good stuff. My love of NZ centres around the Maori language and culture. I do of course love authentic Indian food. Interesting to watch as I'll be in Hamilton later this year and will have to drop into that place to eat. Food looks terrific. Cool Vid as my passion is languages and the next on my list is Hindi. 🙂
2:55 I know this doesn't happen in North India, but I have seen in Kerala where shopkeepers leave their watermelons on the road and return to them in the morning. All places are not that bad

The sad part is it is only limited to the north eastern states which can be justified cause of massive population in North india
Very true
This made me cry
I was going to say this 😀.
Sure sure maybe 1 per 100 will do This. I was robbed in North India twice, never more going to visit this "country"
