Why? So if they fall the horses hurt themselves worse than on a track. It's disgusting. If they don't end up with damage to their legs i would be surprised
I'm surprised all of those horses don't go lame trotting on pavement like that. I grew up with harness horses in the US. Never would take them on the road like that.
