"And you know, the REAL thorn in my side is that unlike everyone here...I was innocent" Cristin Milioti's delivery of this line sent so many chills up and down my spine. The way her voice remained composed up until that point is just so good. This performance has seriously become one of my favorites in such a short time

Something I just picked up on.. Although Alberto Falcone was kind of a disappointment to his dad, he was actually still put-together. It didn’t seem like he was using drugs during any of his scenes in this episode. He just seemed like a slacker. What if what happened to Sofia, weighs so much on him that maybe he develops his drug dependency. The time we see him in Episode 1, he is not acting the same as in episode 4. Being under your father’s thumb, he would probably get un-alived if his dad caught wind of him helping Sofia.

Oz didn’t know. He didn’t know he was the strangler. All he knew was talking to press or cops is bad and reported it. Thought he would yell at her and put her in her place. He was genuinely shocked when she was arrested
Youre making it seem innocent, saying all he knew was that it was bad to talk to press makes. Oz is always thinking of Oz and this was an opportunity to get a step further in life
which is ironic considering he seemed to have half if not the majority of the GCPD on his payroll along with judges only to have the murders of what seven woman who were strangled be pinned on his daughter who is like 150 lbs wet. Who da hell would believe she was able to strangle / hang women on her own? If anything u'd think she would have help.

This show's amazing, Penguin is not a hero he's not even an anti-hero but a straight villain regardless he's a lying backstabbing and will do whatever to have control, i love this show so much 🔥👍💯
About Alberto, I think it's not really his fault he couldn't get Sofia out. He and Sofia literally have nothing that Carmine doesn't give them, so genuinely, I think his only real option is to be the heir and pray his dad dies soon. And as soon as Carmine carked it, Sofia was out. He did everything he could, even if it wasn't very much.

The tie-in with how Falcone killed Selena's mom in The Batman fucked me up, this episode was a masterpiece. Also Magpie being in Arkham was a nice lil nod, and Mark Strong was FANTASTIC as Falcone. Didn't feel like a different character AT ALL. The guy who arrested Sofia was also the detective who worked for Falcone in the movie! And I need Cristin Milioti to have SOME kinda award from this episode.
Magpie WAS a spy for Ventriss and was being rewarded by him for it. Not saying she deserved to die (she didn’t) but she wasn’t “just looking for a friend”
On the radio it said she'd been "technically exonerated" - so maybe the tape of their father killing Selina Kyle's friend by strangling her helped Alberto and the Doctor make the case Sofia didn't commit the crimes. Pretty sad that both his daughters were so messed up by his actions. So, the Riddler did a good thing killing him, otherwise she'd still be locked up. I also wonder if the trauma and torment of his sister in Arkham is what caused Alberto to start taking drugs etc.
Love Christin Milioti for years now but seeing her in Penguin is even more special. btw when Sofia says to Oz "Why didn't you talk to me first?!" you and some other reaction channels were like "Yeah f you Oz!", when he actually did try to talk to her first. I'm sure Oz didn't even think of her getting arrested or her ending up in Arkham. From this mob family hierarchy point of view Oz did the right thing by telling Falcone about what happend, so Falcone could react. Sofia made a mistake by talking to the press and Falcone's reaction to that was just insane, Oz just played a little role in that. However, of course Sofia would feel betrayed by Oz, it's understandable.

Obviously not, will he be genuinely sad about it?? Ya I think so or atleast as much as a sociopath like oz can muster. However if killing vic dosent help his standing or isn't greatly or equally beneficial to himself?
